Thuisbasis van de 5-stapsregel! Stap van het dek af en klik in je ski's !! Dit prachtig ingerichte stadshuis heeft directe ski-in-ski-out toegang tot een privépad dat u naar de high-speed Jordanelle-gondel brengt. De 5 slaapkamers, 5 badkamers huis is geschikt voor maximaal 14, heeft een eigen bubbelbad, prachtige gastronomische keuken, en is de thuisbasis van de 5 stappen regel: stap van het dek, en klik in je ski's!

Het huis is Mountain Modern, volledig ingericht, volledig uitgerust, ski in en ski out, 5 slaapkamers, 5 badkamers en is gelegen in de Deer Crest onderverdeling van Deer Valley. Duel hoofdslaapkamers met meerdere balkons. Dramatische grote kamer met massieve vloer tot plafond stenen open haard gewelfde plafonds en veel ramen. Massief houten deuren en handgeschilde houtaccenten. Gastronomische keuken met granieten rand en werkbladen. Directe ski-in toegang vanaf een privé-parcours en ski-out naar high-speed Jordanelle-gondel. Bubbelbad. Twee auto garage met veel bergruimte. Uitstekende blootstelling aan de zon op het oosten. Spectaculair uitzicht op het meer en de bergen. Drie gashaarden. Prive-terras met BBQ uit woonkamer, tweede dek op het lagere niveau met bubbelbad.

Beide master suites hebben kingsize bedden en open haard. Een master suite kan worden omgezet in twee aparte bedden indien nodig. De bovenste slaapkamer heeft een stapelbed (bovenste twin-size en onderste full-size bed). Geweldig voor kinderen! Dit niveau heeft ook een extra slaapkamer met een queensize bed. Een badkamer wordt gedeeld voor de gehele verdieping. De andere 3 slaapkamers hebben een eigen badkamer. Flatscreen-tv's zijn aanwezig in alle slaapkamers en de grote zaal. Bovendien biedt het Deer Valley-gebied tal van activiteiten voor iedereen!

Deer Valley is een skigebied alleen. Gasten op alpine-, telemark- of monoski-uitrusting met voeten naast elkaar geplaatst en naar voren gericht zijn toegestaan. Snowboards en carving boards zijn beperkt in gebruik. Redelijke accommodaties voor adaptieve ski-apparaten worden gemaakt; de uitrusting moet echter in overeenstemming zijn met het ski only-beleid van het resort.

Voertuigen met vierwielaandrijving vereist in de winter vanwege sneeuwomstandigheden.

Het weer in de bergen is variabel en onvoorspelbaar. De omstandigheden in het resort en de ski-toegang kunnen afhankelijk zijn van het weer en de sneeuw.

Excellent location. Very clean!! Right on a groomed access trail. It is a blue square. Very narrow and steep drop off with no rails or foliage in some sections but one of our favorite runs every day to hit since it was always freshly groomed. I’d recommend it for confident intermediate skiers or better. The house itself was very warm inviting and appropriately appointed with everything one needs for a couples ski trip. Bedroom 5 is a little small with no window so someone may be drawing the short straw if you have more than 4 couples. Fine for teen boys etc. The owners were very responsive to our needs and great to work with. Will return if the vacation time allows.

The place was fantastic! It had pretty much everything, great views and great amenities! The beds were very comfortable, the showers were great, and the hot tub was terrific! Due to the lack of snow you could not ski “in” because neither the lifts nor trails leading back to the unit were open…The fireplace in the living room wasn't working as it was going to be replaced, but it wasn’t a huge deal, just a “nice to have”…

Family ski trip

The property was very comfortable, spacious, and well-appointed for our group of 9 (ages 7-75 with skier ability from advanced beginner to expert). The ski-on ski-off was wonderful and made it easy for everyone to get out and then return at their own pace with the larger group. (We did have a little trouble finding our way back the first day - the map and directions provided are accurate, but we didn’t realize their is a second, more subtle entry way into the private residences from the top of the gondola.). Internet was not working upon arrival and we were unable to reach hosts initially, but it turned out a simple unplug of the router (in a bedroom) fixed that right up. We cooked many meals at home and ate out some nights - great dining options a short drive away in Park City, but kitchen had everything we needed to cook some fairly elaborate dinners the nights we stayed in. We only came back midday for lunch one day. The mountain is widely spread out with the condo on one end. So it was a bit of a disruptive, time consuming trip back midday (particularly with some slower skiers in our group) if we were out skiing on the other side. Hot tub was a real apres ski treat - clean, well-maintained, and with great views.We had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again!

Clean and easy to access space. A little off the beaten path and a lot stairs but an overall great stay. Had everything you need and certainly won’t disappoint. Good ski access but limited in the warmer ends of the season as it is at a low elevation relative to the rest of deer valley and park city so there is less snow.

xmas skiing 2023

the property was great except for the ski in ski out location. due to the lack of snow it was difficult to ski in and out from the house. and definitely not a beginner trail even if there was more snow. ended up driving to the snow park lodge or gondola. the slopes were very crowded due to only 60% of the mountain being open but can’t control the weather. overall a great rental.

Great vacation in Deer Valley

The property was perfect for the 12 adults/teens for spring break skiing. There was a few issues that were resolved when we arrived- DirectTV was not functioning (in the middle of March Madness football!) and there was no toilet paper refills. Both issues were resolved in the first 24 hours. Otherwise, the place was great. The ski out was easy for all the guests but the ski in was a little more challenging for the beginner/intermediate crowd. Overall, a great place to stay!

We enjoyed this condo and its ease of access to the gondola in the morning. The sunrise is beautiful! It is spacious, comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, roomy, comfortable living area, great hot tub. The property manager was easy to contact and promptly replied and took care of a minor issue for us. We would definitely stay there again. The amount of snowfall made the ski home run a little difficult but doable.

Convenience in every sense

The house is very nice, just as advertised, location is perfect allowing all skiers to get home at different times not needing to use the car. Communication with Jami was great (we had only one misunderstanding because we were supposed to find the remote control for the garage door and we didn’t), she was always available and even going above what we expected. I would recommend this house to my closest family and friends, and would love to come back.

Better than expected

I have stayed at several ski ins- this by far was the best. From the time you click on your skis to the time you are getting on the gondola is about 1 minute. It's a true ski in meaning you can literally ski in and out of the backdoor. House was perfect for our party of 10. We never felt cramped or cluttered. If ever visiting Deer Valley in the future we would pick this same house.

Perfect and convenient home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Deer Crest townhome. It was convenient to the Jordanelle gondola (ski out the backdoor), Park City and deer valley lodges. The rooms were spacious and clean and our large group could gather in the family room and kitchen without feeling crowded. We all agreed we would come back to stay again. Our favorite parts were the sunrises from the balcony, skiing down to the gondola, stopping in for lunch together and the hot tub after a long day on the slopes. The owners communicated quickly before and after our trip and were a pleasure to work with. This is a true ski on/ski off gem at Deer Valley!

First Family Ski Adventure

Safety item: Dryer vent full of lint (not tray inside), could cause fire. Heat adjustment (thermostats) was difficult. Off premise staffing was responsive and very friendly TV's ( 5) throughout condo required reprogramming with Direct TV over the phone. Unexpectedly there was food left by previous tenants that was a welcome surprise. None of these suggestions are 'deal breakers' as we would still recommend this property.

Great Place with Great Service - A few tips for the next guests

It was a wonderful house and everything was great. I would certainly recommend it. And the price fit the location. So these tips are to fill in the blanks for the next traveler. LOCATION & ACCESS * great ski in/out access, but far enough removed that you will spend considerable time if you plan to "stop in" to warm up or have lunch. Best to eat/warm up in a lodge. * ski out is only served by the gondola, which is awesome, but also the first lift to close when the wind blows. We were lucky to have suburbans to shuttle our group to snowpark base lodge, but would have otherwise been stuck figuring out what to do. No resort shuttle from gondola to other lodge. Evidently, Deer Crest (the community) has a shuttle available? Not sure how convenient or quick or if its is real? Just be prepared. * deer crest trail map (to house) needs an update. We took an extra right turn near the end, not on map, which caused us to remove skis and cross a street. Our neighbors did that too. Not a big deal though. * Finally, and the biggest last minute scare for us, was the availability of the deer crest ski trail system. There is no place to learn if the trails are open. We noticed on the rental photos/video that there appears to be snowmaking on the trail system which led us to assume that they would be open. (particularly by late January). We inquired 3 days before departing and were informed they were not open yet. Wow. That sucked. Luckily, they got 15" the day before we arrived. Everything was open. And the ski patrol told us that they had been open "for weeks". Who was right? Dont know. But very concerning when the entire point of staying here was for the ski-in ski-out. Be very aware. * our beginners (kids) were able to ski all the way, with only a couple of scary spots. HOUSE Great House, as advertised, but the photos and descriptions weren't clear on the following things: *the table seats 10, photo shows 6. Its tight, but accommodates. Plus 4 seats at kitchen bar top. * the one bedroom downstairs has a detached bathroom that enters through the ski hallway. Inconvenient, but functional. * the twins into king was very comfortable. In fact all bedding is real comfortable. * photos show haphazard TV wiring through, so it came as no surprise that some of the electronics didn't work. We weren't there to watch TV, and had our own apple TV for the kids. * WIFI: its there, but painfully slow. We tried a reboot to no avail, so used our own hotspots.

Best ski trip yet!

Outstanding property. Just as billed! Location was perfect. Ski in/ski out is the only way to go! The owners could not have been more welcoming with a meat/veggie platter, cookie platter and a few adult beverages waiting for us upon arrival. Easy access to the airport and only 15 minutes to groceries. We will definitely rent here again and definitely with this amazing management team. Thank you for making this a special vacation for our family!
