You must come to this quiet and luxury retreat!!!!
My husband and I stayed 3 nights in the Milan Loft. It had everything we needed for a wonderful and memorable getaway- an abundance of space, comfortable furniture, beautiful decor, lovely view of downtown Milan, and serenity! We enjoyed a dinner out at the local restaurant, The Reserve, and were very pleased with our meal and the friendly staff. We also found items we needed at the local grocery, and the loft provided the tools to cook some light meals as well. We spent an amazing day at the Ark Encounter which was only about an hour's drive away. It was really life changing to be honest. We also visited Clifty Falls State Park and enjoyed some nature and hiking. We spent a lot of time relaxing at the loft as well. There was plenty to do there, including reading, painting, listening to records on the vintage stereo, and cooking. The historic building was so full of character. It felt like a mix of stepping back in time but with the amenities of today (wifi, large screen TV with sound bar, Keurig coffee, etc). I think the loft is a beautiful little secret tucked away in small town middle America!! Driving down the side streets, you will see rows of tidy homes with a flag proudly flying on nearly every porch. Everyone we met was kind and friendly. We enjoyed visiting the museum next door and learning all about the history of the town and the basketball team that was portrayed in the movie, Hoosiers. There's nothing about the loft that we didn't love! We are ready to go back already!!! We would highly recommend this for a couples retreat, small family, girls group, etc.
