Delaware Riverfront Cabin op slechts 90 Miles van NYC

Prachtig huis in de stijl van een hut dat onlangs is gerenoveerd en direct aan de Delaware-rivier ligt. Twee even grote slaapkamers met queensize bedden die zijn gemaakt met het beste linnengoed en comfortabele kussens. De badkamer heeft een bad en alle handdoeken zijn inbegrepen. Volledig ingerichte eet in de keuken met alle kookcomfort van thuis. Er is een bankettafel met plaats voor 6 personen. Er is ook een eiland met plaats voor 5. De keuken heeft granieten aanrechtbladen -Potten en pannen-gerechten en glaswerk-magnetron-broodrooster-koffiezetapparaat-koelkast en full size fornuis en oven. De cabine is gevuld met koffie-thee-eigenschappen en een mooi assortiment van kruiden. Open comfortabel concept Woonkamer met een grote flatscreen-tv - schotelnetwerk met full-movie en sportpakket - dvd-speler met een mooie filmbibliotheek- bordspellen- en een houtkachel die is gevuld met vuurhout. Er is een grote veranda met Propane Grill - een mooi zitgedeelte in een afgeschermd tuinhuisje en een eettafel en stoelen. Er zijn drie vuurkorven, een aan de rand van de rivier, een aan het einde van de accommodatie en een dichter bij het huis, allemaal met een spectaculair uitzicht. Er zijn trappen die naar de rivier leiden, waar u uw kano-kajak of vlot direct bij het pand kunt lanceren. De accommodatie biedt ook enkele van de beste vismogelijkheden op de Delaware. U kunt ook wandelen of fietsen bij de accommodatie. Het huis is omgeven door duizenden hectares staat en kale adelaars zijn een veel voorkomende site.
Het is een zeer unieke accommodatie aan een privéweg, op slechts 15 minuten van de noordelijke treinhalte Port Jervis.
Het bezit wordt gevestigd in Vijver Eddy, Pa, enkel over de Rivier van Vijver Eddy, Ny. Het huis is handig om Barryville, Port Jervis, Matamoras, Milford, Shohola en is ongeveer 20 mijl naar Bethel Woods en Monticello en Lake Wallenpaupack.
De hut beschikt over gratis WIFI.
Ons doel is om alle gemakken van thuis op zijn plaats te hebben, zodat onze gasten direct naar binnen kunnen lopen en kunnen gaan genieten van deze werkelijk prachtige vakantieplek.

One of the cleanest and coziest cabins we've stayed at. The property is perfect for Autumn leaves and to just reset from busy life. Lisa was easy to communicate with and always responded promptly!

I love this place! A friend and I had a very pleasant fall weekend. It’s a sweet house in a lovely setting, fairly secluded, with the grounds in back sloping down to the river. Clean, with comfortable bedrooms, and living room, and kitchen well stocked with basic necessities. The host- Lisa- is very nice, accessible and communicated clearly. I would definitely return!

Oh my goodness! Lisa’s cabin Delaware River was amazing! It’s cute and cozy! The moment you walk in we felt welcomed! It was super clean also. We had everything we needed to cook a few meals at home too. The decor in the cabin is a treat in and of itself. There are so many fun things to look at, yet it’s well done. Lisa could not have been any easier to communicate with or more accommodating. She was quick to answer any questions we had and texted us a few times with ideas and events of things that were going on. Such a nice touch!

Cabin was adorable and well decorated. Had all we needed. But we were led to believe by the pictures of the property that the cabin was level with the river. There is a pretty steep ladder to get down to the river and my dogs were too scared to go down. The owner then told us we could use the stairs on the property next door. They were much better but still a hike down and up. Not for anyone with difficulty with steps.

This cabin on the Delaware was exactly what we were looking for for a couple days in the sun & the water. We started off doing a river rafting trip with Indian Head Canoes and then checked in to the house. A short walk across the backyard and down a ladder and you’re ready to play in the water. We spent our entire second day just sitting on the rocks in the river eating snacks and listening to music with our kids and dogs. The location is down a super quiet dirt road and the house is stocked with everything you could need and then some! It’s clean inside and out and the host was super responsive and kind. Beds and living room furniture are very comfortable, but the highlight for me was the back deck. Sitting out staring at the river and hanging with my family for a couple days of downtime was just what i needed. Highly recommend this place!

Overall, this is a great, cute, and clean cabin and we had a very good experience here. It was well stocked and we didn't lack anything. Lisa is SUPER responsive and helpful and was wonderful to work with. Check-in/check-out was smooth and easy. We loved all the outdoor activities, hiking, etc., available to us in the area as well as cute towns to explore. There are just a few things to be aware of that may or may not affect your experience here: (1) the one bathroom in the cabin is very small and has no electrical outlet; (2) because there is no outlet in the bathroom, I had to dry my hair in one of the bedrooms (which both do have mirrors thankfully) but the lighting is not great and made this a bit challenging; (3) to access the cabin you have to cross a one-lane bridge over the river and then a one-way gravel road a decent distance. This was not usually an issue but was a bit nerve wracking when another car was coming the opposite direction; (4) while the property is large and does have river access, it is not conducive to just hanging out and lounging down by the river...it is a small rocky area on the river's edge; (5) the cabin has WIFI which was great, but the general area around town had little to no service; (6) the area is somewhat remote...you will be driving at least 15 minutes to get to a grocery store and lots of restaurant choices; (7) outside of cabin and outdoor furniture could be cleaner. NONE of these things would prevent us from staying again, however.

Cozy Retreat with a View

Relaxing getaway, tranquil setting and comfortable cabin. Enjoyed observing eagles, turkey, deer and incredible amount of birds. We enjoyed hours on the large deck staring at the rushing river. The cabin is adorably decorated, with luxurious linens and thock bath towels. A well stocked kitchen where we cooked all our meals. Cannot wait to return!

Retreat with Mans-Best-Friend

Very relaxing and quiet. Happened to be very cold this weekend, so I opted to spend more time inside but it was nice to see the fire pit out side and picnic table for a warmer trip in the future. Walked down to the river a few times with the pups and took in the calming sound of the rolling river. The kitchen was stocked very well with more items than i expected, although I was packed and prepared for the worst lol. Over all I had the weekend I truly desired and would recommend this spot for anyone looking for a clean, quiet, serene and beautiful time. The only constructive criticism I could give is that the sofa seemed a bit too broken in, may be time for an upgrade.

Amazing place great location off of a private road property is as advertised. Cozy two bedroom plenty of space for four adults beautiful outside deck and direct Delaware River waterfront access. Had everything we needed for cooking. Not far from the towns of Port Jervis, Milford PA. Beautiful scenic drive to Port Jervis with lookouts and lots of hiking trails and fishing opportunities right near the property

As we drove up to the house I got that warm feeling again. It was our second stay. Welcome home to me!!!! A cozy house for on the river. When you want to get away from the hustle and bustle play some games read a book by the fire place. This is the place for you. Like to fish or hunt or hike this is the place for you. No water

While the property is lovely and spacious and very pet friendly, when the electricity goes out, as it did twice when we were there, there is NO water. While the host cannot guarantee that the power will stay on, there should be a generator on the property to ensure that guests are not without water. It's not a campsite, but a house. And the surrounding properties all have generators precisely in the event of a power outage, that the host's partner told us happens "time to time." If nothing else, the listing should note that in the event of a power outage, there will be no water. It's possible to manage without electricity for a while, but it's impossible to manage without water.
