Dit appartement biedt u de beschikbaarheid van onbeperkte activiteiten en avonturen die maar weinig mensen bevoorrecht genoeg zijn om te ervaren. Deze ruime woning met twee slaapkamers ligt aan de zuidkant van Broadkill Beach en kijkt uit op het zandstrand op slechts een steenworp afstand van de voordeur. Aan de achterkant van het pand is uw eigen aanlegplaats voor krabben, vissen en kajakken. Kom en geniet van onze prachtige suite!

Dit appartement is een suite met 2 slaapkamers op de eerste verdieping van ons huis. De ruime slaapkamers zijn voorzien van 2 eenpersoonsbedden en 1 queensize bed. Elke slaapkamer heeft toegang tot het achterdek met een prachtig uitzicht op het natuurreservaat. De badkamer is uitgerust met een extra grote douche met handgrepen. Er is ook een kleine, volledig uitgeruste woonkeuken. Het is een geweldige plek voor dat eerste kopje koffie in de ochtend of een diner bij zonsondergang! In tegenstelling tot veel strandhuizen, zijn er slechts ongeveer 6 stappen om naar deze eerste verdieping te lopen.

We wonen in het pand, dus Captain Steve is beschikbaar om zijn kennis van de lokale vissen en krabben te delen. Bobbie zal zeker helpen met vragen over enkele van de beste lokale restaurants en activiteiten, waaronder haar favoriete spa. Laat het ons weten als u nog vragen heeft!

Perfect getaway

We were looking for a laid back beach holiday and this was everything we hoped for. Steve and Bobbie shared their knowledge of the area which helped us get our bearings. The space was clean and peaceful. They’ve thought of all the amenities. They are fully stocked on coffee, spices, toiletries, bug spray, anything you may need for your stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and conversations with the owners. This area is a private beach so the hustle and bustle of other beaches are missing. We enjoyed that!

Best of both worlds

We loved our stay here and plan to make a return trip when we can stay at least a week. You have the beach right across the street, and a wildlife preserve behind the property where you can fish from the dock. Steve was extrememly friendly and helpful, and the inside had everything you would need. The outside bathroom was also fully stocked.

Wonderful Location

Broadkill Beach house was a lovely place to get away. The house was amazingly clean! The view out the back of the water and marsh areas was breathtaking. The window air conditioners worked well. The beach across the street was so close and the water was perfectly calm and so warm, we loved it. Almost the whole beach to ourselves, even on a Saturday! The horseshoe crabs dead on the beach did have a little smell and we did have a few horse flies buzzing and biting, but it was totally worth it to have such a peaceful, beautiful sandy beach to ourselves. We collected shells and watched the little sand piggies dig with every wave. The natural beaches are my favorite. My kids loved the Rehoboth beach, 40 minute away, for the big waves they could jump and the boardwalk. And it was nice to be so close to that as well. Only things I would note are: the outdoor bathroom works fine but I wouldn’t necessarily count it as a bathroom with the big openings around the bottom, my kids would rather wait for other one, not having a family room for the 4 of us was definitely something we didn’t really consider and we did miss being able to hang out in the same room other than the kitchen. But it was worth it for the location and cleanliness of the house.We highly recommend!

Fantastic stay!

Exceeded expectations

The property and the hosts are amazing! The property had so many amenities and the location was just stunning! A beach cart filled with sand toys and beach chairs meant we didn't have to bring those things or haul them home. A well stocked kitchen meant cooking meals was easy, leaving more time for us to enjoy vacation (and save money by not always eating out!). We were able to crab right off the dock at the property and Captain Steve gave us a lesson in preparation and ways to enjoy fresh crab. I am already looking forward to returning in the future! I highly recommend booking this property.

Great location in Broadkill, as the south side has definitely become our favorite place. Perfect for the 2 of us to spend a few days for our anniversary. Everything about the experience was wonderful. The place was adorable and meticulously clean. Just a very brief walk across the street to the ocean. Umbrellas available already set up. Everything you need is already there so no need to tote chairs, sand buckets, or really almost anything except your own personal items! The owners were friendly, but not intrusive. Part of the deck on the back of the property is screened so you can still enjoy nature in the rain and mosquitoes (we did not have any problem with mosquitoes at this time of the season). Highly recommend!
