Afgelegen Mountain Cabin, Rolstoel / Powerchair Toegankelijk

Schattig particulier eigendom, custom-built blokhut heeft 1,400+ vierkante voet en is gelegen op 3 beboste, afgelegen acres, maar is slechts 15 minuten van het schilderachtige historische binnensteden in Noord-Carolina, Tennessee en Georgië, met inbegrip van Blue Ridge. Het invoeren van een speciaal gebouwde hellingbaan (rolstoel en powerchair toegankelijk), de deur opent naar een grote grote kamer met hoog plafond. De volledig ingerichte keuken - magnetron, fornuis / oven, koelkast / vriezer, vaatwasser en panini grill - heeft een boerderij tafel die 6 zetels. De woonkamer, compleet met ventilator aan het plafond, is ingericht met een grote bank en oversized stoel en 48 "flatscreen HDTV met satelliet-service, DVR, DVD en de muur gemonteerde stereo luidsprekersysteem. Het komt uit op een overdekte veranda dat de lengte van de cabine loopt en wordt gekoeld door 3 plafondventilator helpen van de berg wind; een perfecte plek om te genieten van de rustige bossen tijdens de rust in Amish-crafted rockers. Boven de woonkamer is een loft ingericht met bijpassende aparte bedden, nachtkastje en dressoir. De slaapkamer, ingericht met antiek, originele kunst en een queen-sized ijzeren bed, heeft toegang tot het afgeschermde deel van de veranda door de prachtige Franse deuren, uitgerust met verstelbare tinten voor privacy. De badkamer is uitgerust met een handicap douche met afneembare douchekop, zitting en leuningen. Alle deuren op de begane grond zijn 36 "breed. De ene kant van de ingerichte kelder heeft een full-size, regulering pooltafel, air hockey tafel en twee teller hoogte stoelen. De andere kant heeft een queen-sized Murphy bed, 37-inch HDTV met ingebouwde DVD-speler en satelliet en de DVR-service, evenals een complete badkamer.

Hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Loved the walk to the creek! Our dogs enjoyed being able to run around and play in the fenced in area. We had fun playing pool, watching movies, playing board games and going to downtown Blue Ridge (3 Sisters Fudge) and Mercier Orchard. We also enjoyed making smores in the fire pit!

This was our second time staying here, and again it was great. Clean, secluded, great communication from Mrs. Joyce, beautiful views and walking trails. No complaints at all! The handicap amenities worked out great for the mother in law that hasnt been able to visit the mountains for a while. Would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone!

This property is amazing! I cannot be around chemicals or any type of tobacco smoke because of migraines. This property is TRULY secluded- and gorgeous in every way! Joyce was willing to help us, although everything was set up so well we didn’t need to give her a call. But we wouldn’t have hesitated to reach out. Besides being gorgeous, we loved the short hike to the creek (it was a good one for us Floridians who needed to use leg muscles we didn’t know we had!!) the picnic table was great, we took some fun pictures and enjoyed the pool table and Yahtzee! Our teens had a blast - loved the downstairs and the loft! So fun! Our daughter had online exams and was able to do her studies downstairs without distraction and she had no problems with the WiFi. A binder is available with fun activities and a map! The porch! My favorite place in the world! You just have to see it to understand the peace and tranquility waiting there for you. Everything was clean and cozy, we felt right at home. All the “things” are there. Extra TP if needed, towels, hair dryer, washer & dryer, coffee maker- it even has a fancy side for those who make bougie coffees. This cabin is a must see! If we stay in this area again (which we hope to!) there will be no hesitation - we’ll be coming back here! :)Thank you!!

Great little cabin in the woods!

We have a fantastic stay! The kids loved the creek, sitting by the fire and making s’mores and playing pool on the pool table. The cabin is great, had everything we needed! Just be sure to bring charcoal for the grill if you’re planning on grilling anything.

Perfect little getaway

We loved our stay at this cabin. The first floor was completely wheelchair accessible, even onto the balcony, which was great for my step-father. The cabin was clean and well stocked with anything needed for cooking. The back yard is fenced in for fur babies. The location is very quiet and peaceful, and the view from the balcony is beautiful. We would definitely stay here again.

Unusual circumstance

We ended up staying at a different cabin altogether. That's why this review isn't totally accurate. I will say that the owner of this cabin, the one we were supposed to stay at, was exceptional. There was a problem with her cabin where no one could stay and she found another one very close and took care of the booking for it.

Pics do not do this cabin justice! It is beautiful! Very spacious, great location and had plenty of ammenities. Larry and Joyce answered any questions promptly. Only negative is the number of beds is incorrect. The listing states bedroom two has two beds. A queen and double murphy bed but it only has the murphy bed. Wasn't a big deal though as there was plenty of room for all our guests. Would definitrly recommend and stay here again.

The Best!!!!

I’ve stayed at many beautiful vacation homes. And this one ranks right up there. But what separates a home & the experience is the host. Joyce was the nicest, most accommodating host ever! She offered for us to come a day early due to an impending snow storm. She knew we had our handicapped mother with us. To have an accessible cabin is rare & Joyce was just so concerned about our safety. I cannot say enough nice things about the cabin! The beds weee super comfy! The Murphy bed was amazing! The dogs loved playing in the snow in the fenced yard. And the views were just breathtaking. Go visit Joyce and the Little Cabin in the Woods. You won’t regret it. We can’t wait until we come back!
