Newly transformed farm cottage off the beaten path!

Enjoy this newly transformed one-bedroom cottage located on a family-owned farm on the outskirts of Minford.
We are located within 5 minutes of Rose Valley Animal Park and the White Gravel Mines. For those who enjoy a little drive, there are many state and national parks within an hour.

This cottage has 3 rooms: a bedroom, dinning/kitchen area, and bathroom/closet. The bedroom has a full size bed with a smart tv that you can use with the wifi. We have a full size air mattress that is available upon request. Feel free to enjoy the beauty and sounds of nature from the front porch. There is not an oven or stove but we have provided a hot plate, microwave, toaster, Ninja Foodi, crockpot and keurig; in addition, you may bring a grill. We will also supply farm fresh eggs for you to enjoy.

We also have laundry services available for additional costs.

Guests may walk the farm and look at the animals but please be aware of the white string electric fence on the inner side. We asked that you do not enter any fields or barns for your own safety.

We do live in other houses on the farm and offer contactless check-in and out; however, if there are any questions or necessities needed, we are glad to stop by. Feel free to ask for suggestions on local entertainment, food, and activities.

OMG the animals and you supply food for us to feed them was so special. Their pictures on the walls and nightstand so cute. Loved the treats, eggs and coffee what a bonus. Was surprised with bed size and only one, thought there was two. A little heavy on the air fresheners for those of us with sensitive noses. But a great stay and so close to the Christmas Cave.

Such a lovely place!Our second stay at this beautiful cottage was a relaxing treat again.We loved sitting on the porch in the evenings!!The farm animals are great, I especially like the beautiful turkeys putting on a lively show for us.We made delicious pancakes and scrambled eggs one evening, ingredients provided by the hosts, even farm fresh eggs.Everything we needed and more was available in the home. Wonderful place tucked off the main roads. It was a nice touch to interact with the farm animals. The accommodations were perfect for a quick overnight stay, which housed two adults and two kiddos perfectly. The snacks were a nice to especially after a long 4 hour drive. We will definitely stay here again if we need to come back through this way. Jennifer was a great host!

Wonderful Little Cottage

This cottage is located in a vibrant area of Ohio, filled with open fields and lovely atmosphere. This location really makes you appreciate nature. Although I will say, watch out for the fog if it rains and you’re driving back late! It was a great stay everything you need in a short term rental. Host was attentive prior to our check in and sent all necessary info. We were on this trip for a wedding about an hour away from the location so it worked just perfectly for the occasion. The farm animals were a fun way to spend the day and entertain. We appreciate all the commodities, a 10/10!

Lovely place to stay! We were there for three nights. It’s a decidedly tiny place that’s ideally suited for one or two adults, but my wife and I and our two 6-year-old kids were quite comfortable in the space and quite pleased with the experience. The owner was very friendly and helpful, and having ponies and goats and turkeys just a stone’s throw from our front door was a fun addition.
