This beautiful and newly remodeled single-family home in South Bend is the perfect
place to stay! With a layout that is perfect for families or small friend groups, our 3
bedroom haven sleeps up to 6 adults. No parties, gatherings, or smoking permitted on
the premises. The home is centrally located and within walking distance of University of
Notre Dame (1.5 mi) Just a few minutes drive from Bethel University (2 mi), IUSB (2.5
mi), Potawatami Zoo (2.5 mi), Mishawaka Riverwalk (3 mi), Children’s museum (5mi)
numerous parks and splash pads for kids, fast food, restaurants, and shopping. This
property is ideal for anyone looking for a cozy and comfortable home in a great location,

The Main Living Space:

The bright and airy living room features a comfortable couch and loveseat. Large
windows let a lot of natural light in but several lamps and an overhead ceiling fan will
brighten up the room at night. A 50in TV with a streaming service and ROKU device for
you to log into your your Netflix, Disney plus, Hulu, peacock accounts…ect. Books,
games, puzzles, and DVDs (including kid and family movies) are available for your use!
A fully stocked coffee bar is available for you featuring a drip coffee maker, coffee filters,
regular and decaf coffee, creamer pods, mugs, and a milk frother.
The generous and newly updated kitchen is well-equipped with new appliances, pots
and pans, skillets, crock pot, mixing bowls/spoons, cookie sheets, muffin tins, 9x9 and
9x13 baking dishes, cutting boards, silverware, kitchen knives, a large assortment of
utensils, plates, bowls, glasses, and mugs. There is also a cabinet with plastic plates,
bowls, cups and silverware for children, and bibs for infants. Most basic spices, salt and
pepper shakers, and some minimal baking pantry items are in the cupboard for your
use. There are kitchen towels and washcloths, a clean dish sponge and dish soap, and
a drying mat for larger items that can’t go in dishwasher. Dishwasher tabs, extra
garbage bags, flashlight and Chlorox cleaning wipes are under the kitchen sink. I love to
cook and spend a lot of time in the kitchen, so please make yourself at home! The
kitchen table seats 6 and there is a high-chair and booster seat available for children.

Bedrooms:

Bedroom 1: This charming Lake Michigan inspired room features a comfortable Queen
size bed with fresh white linens, fluffy pillows, 100% cotton blanket and light striped
comforter. Lamps on either side of the bed provide cozy lighting. Sleeps 2 with room for
a pack ‘n play or sleeping bags for children.
Bedroom 2: Queen size metal bed with comfortable Sealy mattress. Fresh white linens,
fluffy pillows, 100% cotton blanket, fluffy gray comforter, and stacked vintage suitcases
as a bedside table give this room a sweet old-fashioned farmhouse vibe. Sleeps 2.

Bedroom 3: This boho-style bedroom hosts 2 twin size metal beds, perfect for adults or
children. There is a soft and cozy rug in the middle of the room and a tall skinny dresser
for clothing. Sleeps 2.
Each bedroom has a ceiling fan, clock, mirror, small trashcan, tissues, closet with
hangers, and extra throw blankets. Blinds and room darkening curtains hang at each
window to ensure a good night’s sleep for everyone. There are also 2 additional small
fans and 2 sound machines for children available. Full sized ironing board and iron are
available.

Family friendly space:

There is a high-chair, booster seat, pack ‘n play, and a few bins of toys in the twin
bedroom closet. Games, puzzles, DVDs, and books are in the living room, and
children’s bath toys and towels are in the cupboards in the bathroom.
Bathroom:
Squeaky clean and newly updated. Features original vintage mint green tile, 2 sinks, full
size shower and tub, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, hair dryer, soft and fluffy
white towels for guests, as well as bath items for kids.

Guest access:

Guests will gain access to the property via a keypad on the front door which will be
provided the day of check-in. Convenient lights by doors make your arrival easier, no
matter what time of day. Check in is anytime after 3pm and check out is 10am. Guests
will have access to the entire main level of the home. Basement will be locked and
guests will not have access to it or the garage. There is no laundry available to guests
at this time, however, there is a laundromat half a mile from the house. Burton’s Laundry
and Dry Cleaning (720 W Edison Rd, Mishawaka, IN 46545).
There is a long, narrow driveway for parking that will park 2 vehicles. There is no street
parking as the house is off Edison Rd. Guests will have access to the front and back
yard. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the Adirondack chairs on the front porch, or dinner at the
patio table under the covered overhang. Yard is not fenced, but the foliage is thick,
providing a “faux fence” on all sides. Please watch any children playing outside as
Edison Rd can be very busy during certain times of the day.
To be respectful of our neighbors, please be mindful of noise levels between 10pm and
7am. Please remember you are staying in someone’s home. This is a family
neighborhood, and no parties of any kind are allowed.
