Post Hotel Review
Room was quite small and overall a bit overpriced for the level of quality and amenities. The balcony was nice with great views but don't walk on it without shoes- I got 2 splinters in the first minute walking on it in bare feet. Needs sanding and refinishing! The ladies at the front desk were excellent and very helpful with our needs.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our one night stay in October. The staff was friendly, location perfect in the middle of town, parking was easy, breakfast was delicious and our room was comfortable and modern.

Alles prima, abgesehen von der Dusche. Um in der Badewanne zu duschen, musste erst eine ziemlich hohe Badewannekante überwunden werden - also wurde nicht geduscht. Positiv aufgefallen ist das sehr reichhaltige Frühstück. Viele Grüße - Bernd aus Silkeborg/Dänemark

Das Personal war -allesamt von der Rezeption bis zum Frühstückraumservice- freundlich, aber sehr ernst. Ein Lächeln hätte uns gefreut. Haben die Angestellten im Post Hotel so wenig zu lachen?

Cute and Cozy in Mittenwald
Such a cute and cozy apartment with a modern bathroom. The staff is very friendly and the main area of the hotel is very big and cozy. The parking on site is very convenient. The hotel is right in the middle of Mittenwald.

Wonderful But...
Wonderful location in this amazing town. Breakfast was great and the service was friendly. Very “old German” look which was great. The reason you get a hotel is to sleep though and these were the most uncomfortable beds and pillows I’ve ever slept on. If they upgrade beds, it’s a winner. If not, nothing matters if you can’t get a good nights sleep.

I was most excited about this hotel while staying in Germany but was so so disappointed. The hotel is in the middle of everything which is great during the day but poor at night. The noise was so bad until about midnight due to bars or restaurants staying open late and all the streets echo. Definitely ask for a room NOT in the front of the hotel. Aside from the noise, the larger issue was the condition of the room itself. It was beyond filthy from YEARS of use. Stains on the walls, floors, couch, etc. and the bathroom smelled as if someone had just used it to poop. It smelled like that the entire time we were there. The bathroom was also badly outdated but worked for what it is supposed to. Overall, I would never recommend staying here ESPECIALLY for the high rates they charge. I would recommend getting a hotel slightly outside of Mittenwald and driving into town for a day. Town is precious but this hotel was a huge let down unless you like not being able to walk around barefoot in your room.

Gorgeous town in the German Alps!
It is a beautiful hotel, very authentic and situated in the middle of the action. Restaurants & bars are all around it and shops for gifts and souvenirs could be found on the same street. It is a beautiful town, very charming and romantic. We love it and we will surely revisit in the future ❤️

Un albergo con gli infissi che si bloccano con un passetto (in quanto la maniglia rotta non è stata sostituita) e con la tappezzeria delle poltroncine lisa sicuramente non merita quattro stelle. Inaccettabile poi l! Impossibilità di ricevere programmi Tv in italiano

Ich bin allgemein sehr zufrieden ,die Umgebung läd super zum Wandern ein,restaurants und Kaffees mit sehr gutem Niveau in unmittelbarer Nähe.Das Frühstück ist sehr gut gewesen und das Mittagessen und das Abendangebot können sich geschmacklich auch mit anderen Resaurants in der Nähe messen. Absolut negativ in der heutigen Zeit,daß man für das Internet noch extra zahlen soll,das ist eigentlich ein no go !!!!!!

Gemütliches Hotel im Zentrum
Das Hotel lebt vom freundlichen Personal, dem guten Restaurant und dem hervorragenden Frühstücksbüffet. Typisch bayrische Lokation, viel Holz, teilweise etwas abgewohnt, aber sauber und ordentlich. Schön ist das Schwimmbad mit Blick auf den Karwendel. Leider ist der Aufzug sehr klein. Die Lage ist zentral im Ort, Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden.

Hotel agradável localizado no centro de Mittenwald
Hotel tradicional em estilo alemão. Quarto espaçoso, silencioso e limpo. Banheiro um pouco apertado. Café da manhã simples, sem muitas opções mas atende às necessidades básicas. Wi-fi não funciona no quarto, somente na sala de estar do hotel, assim mesmo com deficiência e precisa de melhorias, apesar de ser pago (30 minutos free, depois é pago). Para quem não lê e fala alemão, o hotel não é "amigável". Quase tudo está escrito somente na língua alemã. Nem todos os funcionários do staff falam inglês. Staff profissional, atendimento um pouco "seco" mas educado e disponível. Mittenwald é uma pequena cidade alemã ao lado de uma belíssima montanha onde pode-se fazer bonitos passeios. O Post Hotel fica bem localizado no centro da cidade, a 10 minutos caminhando da estação de trem.
