RENTER BEWARE!!!! This is an excerpt from one of my messages to the owner asking for a refund: This isn’t a hustle for a free stay. Nice try tho. First off, when I booked the house it said a 2pm check in. We received a message THE DAY WE WERE DRIVING about a 3:30 check-in. We arrived at 3:10. She had just gotten there, what looked like moments before us, as the house was in shambles. She hadn’t vacuumed or dusted or wiped down and cleaned anything at all. Laundry room was unusable as it had loads in it and all over the floor. New, UNWASHED, sheets and towels are not impressive. In fact, it’s unsanitary. Sheets and towels from the store need to be washed before use. If you honestly think an additional 20 minutes would have helped make the house presentable and clean, then you need to take a look inside the house and see the amount of work that needs to be done during each cleaning. I offered the housekeeper to help make the bed and pick up bc we were EXHAUSTED as we had been driving since 1:30am. Do not make YOUR lack of planning or hiring good help my problem. This is not the way to run a business. My review is not a threat. I am going to leave a truthful review whether or not you refund my money. People need to be informed. Hopefully, this is a one time problem. I would be embarrassed, if I were you. Certainly not blaming me (a paying customer) for your failure to run your business.
