Room fine, don’t pay extra for the breakfast
Confusing hotel layout, we saw others equally confused, that meant our room was a long walk from reception and the corridors were very cold, it was January and we had lashing rain, so perhaps this was uncommon. The decor is tasteful and had it not been so cold, comfortable. Bathrooms are very well appointed and beds and pillows comfortable, but quilts could have been heavier, for the time of year. Breakfast was very disappointing for the additional charge, it simply wasn’t worth it and I’d recommended using one of the restaurants that are very close to the hotel. As a vegan myself, the choice was abysmal. They offered a vegan salad, this consisted of a tablespoons worth of chopped tomato and onion, with some dried oregano, otherwise unseasoned and not enough to cover a slice of toast. Like the small portions of salad, pieces of fruit was rationed into little glasses, which made the selection look larger than it was. The ladies serving were rushed off their feet. Hot offerings were available, to order separately. Coffee served by the cup, which needed to be ordered, as did the tea. It didn’t feel relaxing and considering the price, one of the worst breakfasts I’ve ever seen in a decent Spanish Hotel. I would stay at the hotel again, I would not pay for breakfast and the dinner menu did not encourage me to eat there, but would suit a meat or fish eater I’m sure.

The hotel location was fantastic, literally over the road from the sea. Lots of parking available too, inside, the hotel is immaculate, very modern. Unfortunately though, there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, but I would definitely stay at the parador again in the future

Loved the location and the amazing breakfast. Easy access by bus to the old town of Mojacar. The pool was fabulous and our room was lovely and spacious and was on the ground floor where we had easy access to the pool and our own lovely patio area. We ate at the restaurant one evening and we felt it was quite pricy and had a limited menu, we did only eat there for the view and that did not disappoint. Good place to explore the area we had a great day out at Fort Bravo. The hotel is unique because of the fabulous pool view and sea view I loved listening to the sea while sitting on my patio. A very modern parador hotel with great facilities, we have stayed in a few and would return to this one.

Lovely old building but be prepared to change floors and there is a lot of walking. Dinner menu very limited with some items not available - do not cater for a international taste. Instructions for wifi connect very poor. The whole place just does not feel to be professionally run, its more like a National Trust property being run by volunteers.

La chambre est très grande et le balcon agréable. Ce n'est pas une vue sur mer directe puisqu'il y a la route devant le parador. Le petit déjeuner excellent est servi dans une jolie salle/terrasse.

Initial view of hotel was very positive. Receptionist very helpful and friendly and reception area looked modern and clean. Equally, room was very good. Modern, spacious and clean. However, bar and restaurant area were very poor. It was like walking into a different hotel! Very small, no atmosphere, a mismash of furniture and styles. When i asked the waiter where the bar area was, he pointed and said you are in it..! A few metal chairs and one token sofa. Very poor and not matching the standard of the rest of the property.

Lovely hotel and grounds. Wonderful view from our room, very nice big suite with beautiful bathroom. The bed mattress was terrible, very thin and cheap and definitely needs improvement. Receptionist was very nice, friendly and efficient. Beautiful sunrise from the balcony

Very nice reception staff. A modern property on the sea front, nice sea views. Restaurant was a bit less luxurious than usual Paradors although the menu was similar.

Good location near beach.. nothing special
Large property.. reception staff efficient. We found room door really difficult to open with key card,just by chance after several various attempts we finally did.when we mentioned this to reception staff they informed us that you needed to pull forward this knob in the centre of the door after you swiped the keycard and then Push! They seemed horrified that we were trying to push the door after only swiping the keycard like most hotels. It would have been helpful if they told us this on checkin as I’ve never come accross this system before, and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels.no price list in room for mini bar, we just used2 small bottles of water which were E 2.50 each. Had dinner there one night .. food was ok but expensive for what you got. Good location between Garucha and Mojacar playa. Free parking which was a bonus as we paid up to 15 Euro a night in other hotels in Spain on this trip.some of the sun beds could do with replacing, in poor condition

The doors normally open only with your card, it is possible that your lock had been left incorrectly closed and that is why we would indicate that you should pull and push.
