The space
The POOL HOUSE is a lovely private guesthouse designed with a modern twist of the traditional African-Arab culture. The golden hued walls glow as a result of the stunning Mombasa sunlight streaming in. It’s a fantastic place to stay for two people who want to enjoy the island paradise that is Mombasa… The large comfortable double bed provides fantastic views of the gorgeous lush garden through sliding doors, that lead to your own private veranda that is steps away from the swimming pool. The high ceilings with exposed beams makes the space airy! For those balmy Mombasa nights, THE POOL HOUSE is equipped with a ceiling fan and air conditioner, windows have all been mosquito proofed with mosquito netting, FREE WIFI, an en-suite shower and dressing room, fully equipped kitchen, with coffee maker, toaster, microwave, four burner stove, fridge, and we provide all our guests with FREE COFFEE & TEA. In case of the power outages that are sometimes common in Mombasa THE POOL HOUSE has a backup generator! Easy walking distance to THE BEACH approx. 10 mins (150 meters) with access to SERENA BEACH HOTEL AND SPA. This is the perfect place to relax!

The shared spaces include the pool and part of the enclosed patio. Most times you’ll have the entire pool and gardens all to yourself. The kitchen is fully equipped.

*It is very important to us to know if you are travelling alone or as a couple, so please do the registration accordingly! Thank you!
*Also please note the check in (after 12:00 noon) and check out (at 10:00 am). To provide good and thorough cleaning service we cannot always be very flexible with check in/out times, but we try to do our best to help our guests.
WE DO NOT OFFER LUGGAGE STORAGE, as we do not have space for such service, and for security reasons, we cannot have people coming and going that aren't booked to stay with us. If you have guests that may be visiting kindly let our caretaker know in advance. No over night guests who are not booked to stay at the property.
* we offer the accommodation only- not bed and breakfast, however we do have complimentary teas coffee and water,for stays shorter than 14 days we do not provide daily housekeeping
