Aloude Adobe Home - Vegen Ocean View.

Majestueus gelegen op Point Lobos Ridge, dit huis biedt de meest ongelooflijke wit-water en uitzicht op de oceaan van Carmel en Pebble Beach denkbaar. Het huis is gepositioneerd om te profiteren van de natuurlijke wonderen van de centrale kust. Ervaar de warme microklimaat (15 graden warmer dan mistig Carmel), voor je hoog boven de mist neergestreken. Zonsopgangen en zonsondergangen zijn 360 graden en Carmel Village verlicht de nacht daaronder als de mist threading weg door de vallei. Duizenden hectaren van California State Parks open ruimte rondom het pand, met de oceaan wandelen in Point Lobos State Park bij de ingang van de weg die leidt naar de woning. Grote open ruimte in de weg staat afleiding, het creëren van een overvloed van sterren en planeten te bekijken.

U loopt in een tijd gehoornde originele bericht Adobe huis, die onlangs werd gerestaureerd naar de oorspronkelijke toestand.

Geniet van de warme van de 80-jarige eerste groei Redwood post & balkenconstructie. Originele mahonie plafond planken bieden een prachtig contrast met de open balken aan het plafond.

Ingerichte keuken en Vrijstaande de Chef's kunnen de originele adobe open haard de perfecte plek om de warmte en textuur toe te voegen aan uw vakantie verblijf.

Een open plattegrond biedt voldoende ruimte voor een goed gesprek en te ontspannen. De keuken, eetkamer en woonkamer gebieden zijn allemaal open, als onderdeel van de grote zaal ervaring.

Breathtaking!

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home high in the hills overlooking the ocean and Carmel. The photos in the listing give you just a hint at the stunning scenery that envelops you - it was unbelievable. The home itself was comfortable and well appointed, nicely decorated. I really appreciated the privacy. It had everything I could have wanted for my stay. I loved it so much I started planning my next trip while I was still there. Spectacular!

This house feels LOVED!

This is a lovely house, with a great kitchen for cooking! Also the bathroom is so nice, with heated floors and bidet, quite a step up from your typical short term rental. Lou was very responsive whenever I had a question. It’s in a beautiful location but it is a bit of a drive to get up there (price to pay for peace and quiet and a view!), just so people are aware.

Great Christmas stay

A beautiful home to stay in, in all weather, set in extraordinary landscape of sea forests and wildlife . We had a wonderful family Christmas , great cooking , open fires in the evenings and walks along the coastal paths and beaches.

Heaven on earth! Looking out I loved seeing the ocean to the left while my husband enjoyed the mountains to the right. We were so comfortable and the views so special that we were never in a hurry to leave. The pots of plants inside and out added an extra touch.

Unique property with panoramic views

Grew up in Carmel. 30 yrs worth. I can say that the location and privacy with fantastic views of the Pacific/ Carmel and Mission Beach are outstanding as well as views out Carmel Valley. Charming home that has a wonderful kitchen along with nice bath and comfortable bedrooms. Having stayed in just about every location and type of homes on the Monterey Peninsula, I can say that this property is special. The drive up the hill to the top takes about 5-6 minutes. Not bad. From the bottom of the hill your are 5 minutes to groceries and dining. The owner is responsive and polite. A real pleasure ! Bring your binoculars...

Lovely!

Lou’s house just never disappoints! It’s our second stay and we loved it! The kids love it. The location is fantastic and warmer than in Carmel. House is clean and wonderful to star gaze as there’s no light pollution. The fans worked well to cool the sleeping rooms down. It makes for an unforgettable get away!

Felt like I was on Cloud 9. This is definitely the place to go to relax and enjoy the true beauty of God’s creation. And at the same time, shops and great restaurants were a mere 10 minutes away. This home is well equipped with lots of nice upgrades. My favorite being the heated bathroom floors. The owner is quite responsive and a really nice guy.

Dreamy Carmel Escape

Quaint with amazing views. We enjoyed the gourmet kitchen and the patios around most of the property. The rosemary was blooming and a friendly lizard came out daily to enjoy coffee with us. Super bonus was that we were above the fog most of the time and enjoyed watching it roll in and out. The road way up is long and winding so glad they warned us ahead of time.....it was worth it:)

Our Happy Place...

This is my second visit to this home, and it has now “officially" become my happy place- far from the fast pace of Chicago. I was thrilled for my husband to experience this home with amazing views,where you can truly experience genuine peace and quiet! Lou is the most gracious and accommodating host. Very responsive and ensured that we had a wonderful experience. The 1.8 mile drive up to the property is well worth it as you are greeted with unforgettable views of the bay to the west (sunset) and tree covered mountains to the east (sunrise). Easy access to grocery store and downtown Carmel/Beach. We made all our meals on site, grilling /using the well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed hiking throughout the day- Point Lobos State Park is literally at the end of the lane and heading south, Big Sur a beautiful winding drive. Lazy afternoons and evenings were spent outside on the patio enjoying the views and wildlife. The home is comfortably furnished and stocked with plenty of wood for the fireplace. My husband agrees that the bathroom with heated floors and toilet seat is a luxury we must figure out how to install in our home 😊. We highly recommend this home and we are already planning out dates for our next trip to this hidden gem!

Stunning and Regenerative

This house is a dream come true. My family and I could not have enjoyed our stay more. The view is every bit as spectacular as you would expect and more so. Stunning views - didn't want to leave!

What an absolutely stunning adobe. We loved the fire, the chefs kitchen and the whole lay out. The sweeping mountain and ocean views are so spectacular that we didn't want to leave. We also loved drinking coffee on the bench in the mornings listening to the birds sing. Already planning when it's possible to return.

Seaside Hilltop Heaven

This was our second stay at the Time Honored Adobe, our first in 5 years, and it was exactly as we hoped it would be. The views from this unique property can only be described as sublime. The home is warm and so comfortable. The kitchen is perfect for those who enjoy cooking and relaxing while dining in.We spent hours hiking Pt Lobos Reserve or the beach and then retreated to the adobe for afternoons on the patio to take in the expansive views. We got a smattering of typical February weather, each day creating new ways to enjoy the natural surroundings. We’re so grateful this gem of a place is still available and hope to return again.

Unbelievable view!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. The furnishings are simple but comfortable. The best part is the 180 degree views from the house overlooking Carmel. Our other favorite part was the fireplace in the living room. It is a 10 minute drive to a Safeway and restaurants. Would def stay here again!
