'We had a fantastic stay at Villa Marhertita. It was our second time, and it was as good as it was before. The welcome is warm and the room is very comfortable. The restaurant is very good and the view awsome. We took dinner almost every day at the hotel. Every dish we tryed was excellent. The servants of breakfast and dinner are very service oriënted, and their hospitality is great. We recommend Villa Marguérite very warmly. And we will come back !'

'Hotel San Lino is a very historical place to stay in Volterra. It has a magical view and a cosy swimming pool. The building is from 1480 and has a rich history. Its located within the walls of Volterra and is a very nice place to stay. The people working there a very friendly and helpful. We booked a room with breakfast. 'Wunderschönes Hotel im alten Kohlebergwerk. Etwas abgeschieden, dafür aber die totale Ruhe. Wir haben super geschlafen! Das Abendessen kann man im Freien geniessen, gute Auswahl und lecker gekocht. Unbedingt jeweils am Morgen reservieren! Einziger Negativpunkt: Das Personal ist beim Frühstück überfordert, da man als Gast nichts selber schöpfen darf. So entstehen Wartezeiten. '

'Nice we can park for free next to the hotel. The centre is on walking distance, like 10 minutes. The furniture and beds where a little bit old but all was very clean. We had many delay with the flight so we where just on time for the check-in (23.00). If we where later we had a problem because there is then nobody. Good to know this. We stay for 1 day and for us it’s was perfect! '

'We stayed in the suite for 2 weeks and it was a wonderful jumping off point for Tuscany. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.The breakfast options were also great. Volterra is a sizable town and on the tourist trail for people coming in from Florence for sure, but we still had no trouble getting restaurant reservations and things were much more quiet in the evenings.'
