'I stayed here for an overnight stop between La Fortuna and Monteverde, the hotel was better than I was expecting. Everything was great, a/c provided, was clean and comfortable and no issues at all. Would definitely stay here again if I were passing through. Tilarán is quite a sleepy little town, not a great deal going on there'

'we booked this hotel on the way from Fortuna till Tambor. It was only for 1 night and for us this hotel is perfect "on the way".The room was simple but clean. The kids liked the garden. a point for improvement is the breakfast. WIFI only at the lobby, not in the rooms.'

'Wij verbleven hier 2 nachten in een family bungalow. Iedereen heeft zijn eigen kamer maar op 2 verschillende verdiepingen. Ontbijt en dinner zijn top, verse en locale ingrediënten. Hotel staff is gewoon top ! Iedereen kent je voornaam, doet z’n uiterste best om alles vlot te laten verlopen. Geweldig ! '

'Nieuw hotel (open sinds 12/2018) en dat is aan de staat ook wel af te zien, alles ziet er nog spiksplinternieuw en schoon uit! Resort is ook heel mooi aangelegd en geeft je het gevoel dat je midden in het regenwoud bent. Klein minpuntje is de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding van het restaurant. Eten is prima, maar ze rekenen in vergelijking met andere hotels / restaurant forse prijzen, die niet in verhouding staan tot wat je ervoor krijgt.'

'Everything in the description is accurate — our stay at Sangregado Lodge was absolutely amazing, right in the heart of the rainforest. The view of Arenal Volcano from both our bedroom and bathroom was breathtaking. Francisco at the front desk was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout our stay. 'Host Tracy was fantastic and speaks flawless English. She helped arrange a last-minute tour for us and clearly wants to be helpful. The “treehouse” was beautiful. Not much common sitting within the unit, but between the hammock and outdoor seating we were very comfortable. It was wonderful waking up in the treetops! A yummy breakfast is available for $10. '
