'Our fourth stay at the Metropole in recent years.A privilege to stay in such a unique historic building,with yes a little patina around the edges.If you dont embrace the nostalgia then budget chain's are available.The staff here are so good,as is the breakfast and the pool and spa facility.A great location for roadtrips around mid Wales,and a huge car park.'

'This place is a real gem. Double room at rear of Inn away from main road, Bed very comfortable - lovely bedding. Bathroom very good/clean - would benefit from somewhere to put down toiletry bags etc. beautiful huge white fluffy towels provided. Shower would also benefit from somewhere to put down toiletries etc.
Restaurant excellent, lovely ambiance, food plentiful and very good although chips a little too crispy.

'The room was lovely and clean and the bed was very comfy, the hosts are lovely and friendly and very talkative and they offer lots of knowledge about walks and activities in wales and have leaflets avaliable with information about activities. The hosts were also very quick to help with anything that was needed. Also the breakfast was amazing and there was lots of options to choose from'
