'We had a large group and this place could not have been more perfect, we had a blast. It is enormous there were 15 bedrooms total, including some bunk rooms and plenty of room for everyone. The pool is amazing and warm, the pool room is enormous. The sauna and hot tub were fantastic. We will hopefully return sooner than later, it was a great winter stay and I'm sure it's amazing in the summer too. '

'The host was very courteous and let me know everytime she would be unavailable, if she was unavailable she still had someone able to be reached for any issues. The house was nice and the process was very easy for checking in and out, there is a lot of open space and room for activities. Not a lot of places to visit around the house but the house is for sure the highlight if you are wanting to make the trip to Monticello. Nice house for groups and events.'

'The house and grounds were spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the lake while we had our morning coffee. More than once we spotted hummingbirds visiting the feeders on the deck. We were out in the kayaks every day and cooled off taking a swim by the dock. The house instructions were clearly posted, and the check in and out went smoothly.'

'My family of 10 which included two kids had an amazing stay at Shira’s house. We enjoyed how clean and simple it was and Shira was so easy to communicate with. The kids absolutely loved the heated pool and we all took advantage of the indoor hot tub! We played board games as a family in the dining room and the bedrooms were also very comfortable. The two refrigerators in the kitchen was also very helpful for us as a big group. Thank you so much!! I hope we will be back! '

'The landscape is beautiful. There’s much to explore. It is a convenient location. The fire pit was a highlight. Toasting marshmallows and grilling. The house is tastefully decorated. The water pressure in sinks and showers is very very slow. The layout is a bit of a maze. There’s a center staircase that splits. Half of the sleepy areas on two side. The description of 10 bedrooms is deceptive. Each of the bedrooms has a lounge area. These areas are spacious and have sofas that fold out; not...

'Great property, and one of the most thoroughly stocked VRBO locations we’ve ever stayed at - from the kitchen/cooking/dining items (even an almost a full spice rack!) to bathroom items (eg. hair dryers, cue tips, etc) - this place had everything. Smooth check in, responsive host/property manager, great hot tub and fire pit area,. It was perfect for our family of 5, and our friend’s family of 4. Plenty of room for all, ample sleeping arrangements, 3 full baths. Incredible. We’ll be back!'

The house had everything we needed and we appreciated the shampoos and soaps in all the bathrooms including the wonderful outdoor shower. 'lovely lake house. very quiet in secluded cove of the lake. clean, well stocked, AC worked well. water levels were low so that was a bummer so the lake access wasnt right out the door. but that has nothing to do with the home owner, but know the lake is a reservoir with varying water levels. still, house was super close to the marina and we were able to rent boats multiple days which was terrific. lower bedroom had a cot not a full twin as expected, but we made it work for our family of 5. ...
