La petite Chamarande, peaceful cottage with river view, close to Tours & Amboise

A 15-minute drive from Tours and Amboise, a 2-minute walk from the small town center of Montlouis, or a 10-minute walk from the nearest vineyards, this small house is the ideal retreat for exploring the Loire Valley or working from home.

You’ll love the tranquility and the view of the Loire, all while being close to the small town center.

The little house is detached, but it’s located on our property… and that of our cats. That’s why dogs are welcome, but only on a leash in the garden ;-)

It’s a small farmhouse measuring 45m² built in 1930, which was completely renovated a few years ago.

As you walk through the door, you’ll find, in order: a kitchen open to the entryway, a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet.

You can cook, sleep up to 5 people, work at a small desk with Wi-Fi, bask in the sun on your small private lawn, and admire the view of the Loire.

Note: The house does not have air conditioning, but it stays relatively cool in the summer thanks to its thick walls and the ability to create a breeze.

You’ll have the entire house to yourself and can freely enjoy the lawn out front.
You’ll also have access to a covered outdoor area where you can relax or eat.
You’ll be able to store your bikes under cover.
Let us know if you need a secure parking space; we can arrange it. Otherwise, you can park in front of the cottage or on the street, if you prefer.
