'we stayed on this property in July 2023. We had two couples and one individual. This property was cramped and not clean, and also very dark downstairs. The beds t downstairs were very uncomfortable. Bathroom downstairs very small. The cook wear was very old. I actually found mouse droppings in the crockpot that I was hoping to use. Mouse traps several places. Towels very old and raggedy. The upstairs was roomy, comfy bed, but had issues with the toilet flushing and no towels supplied up there....

'Everything was great. The cabin is in a great location, and you have access to a variety of parks, trails, etc. The cabin is clean and extremely well organized. We got hit by a mid-March snowstorm and got snowed in for a day, and Krista went out of her way to get us plowed out and provide information. Great overall experience and highly recommended!'

'What a lovely little cabin. This was exactly as presented online and had extra amenities that weren’t listed. The view out the windows of the cabin was across a meadow with a creek running through it and green tree covered mountains in the background. In three days we saw elk in the meadow 5 times. Excellent common areas and air hockey was a fan favorite too. Highly recommended! '

'The sights and sounds of the river is so relaxing. Since the bedrooms are upstairs, you feel like you are in a tree house! It was our second time to stay in Cuchara and we hope we can stay again since we got married in the Cuchara Chapel 44 years ago.'

'Place is pretty basic. Not enough counter space to cook. Oven very dirty. Need chairs in living room. No dish washing soap. Looks like a new owner that has just put in basic necessities. Fireplace was great although no matches or fire starter. Place was not prepared for cold weather.'
