Historisch gastenverblijf op HGTV's koopjesjacht renovatie op het strand!

Dit charmante pension ligt achter een historisch huis in het centrum van Morehead City, NC. Het hoofdhuis werd gebouwd op Shackleford Banks in 1885 en verhuisde naar zijn huidige locatie in 1901 door zeilschepen. Het pension is tussen de jaren 1920 en 1930 gebouwd voor de tweede eigenaar van de zoon van het hoofdgebouw. Het pand ligt 2. 5 blokken van een zandige openbare toegang tot de intra-kust waterweg!

In de zomer van 2017 was het huis een onderdeel van de Home and Garden Television show, genaamd Beachfront Bargain Hunt Renovation. Het filmen begon in de herfst van 2016 en het pension was ook te zien! De show werd op 5 mei 2018 uitgezonden op HGTV van 22.00 tot 23.00 uur. Je kunt de show vinden door de HGTV te downloaden en te zoeken naar Beachfront Bargain Hunt Renovation, Episode 310!

Het volledig ingerichte pension heeft een woonkamer en een eetkeuken met een fornuis, een koelkast, een broodrooster, borden, kopjes, potten en pannen en een koffiezetapparaat. De slaapkamer is voorzien van een queensize bed en een dressoir en kast waar u uw spullen kunt opbergen. De complete badkamer biedt een opstaande douche.

Voorzieningen zijn onder andere linnengoed, strijkijzer / strijkplank, Keurig koffiezetapparaat, WIFI, parkeren op straat. NIET roken en GEEN huisdieren.

Big Rock Landing evenals winkels, restaurants en uitgaansgelegenheden liggen allemaal op loopafstand. Morehead City Ferry Service bevindt zich binnen 3 blokken en biedt een bootdienst naar Carrot Island, Bird Shoal, Sand Dollar Island en het eiland Sugarloaf. Ook Beaufort, uitgeroepen tot "Coolest Small Town", ligt op slechts 5 km afstand. Als je geluk hebt, zie je wilde paarden net buiten Front Street op Carrot Island.

This was our second time staying in Nicole’s guest house. It is in a great location, walking distance to the Morehead City waterfront and a short drive to Atlantic Beach. The guest house is cute and clean. We enjoyed our stay!

The location of the property was wonderful and quiet. It was disappointing that the access to the lake was not available and we were not told about that until we were an hour away from checking in. Also, if you are looking for something that sleeps 11 people as described, know that there are only 3 beds (not the 4 that are listed). The interior was clean and the beds were comfortable.

Charming bungalow in a lovely section of Morehead City

This is a free-standing auxilliary unit in the backyard of a restored bungalow.Very charming. It is small, with one bedroom, and a couch that was comfortable to sleep on but does not open up into a bed, so it is really set up for a couple, or a single and a friend, rather than a family with children.The bathroom is new and the shower great. We loved the walkability of the historical downtown which is close by and the charming neighborhood. You can also walk to some excellent restaurants and shops. Atlantic Beach, Fort Macon, and minature golf are all accesible across a causeway close to where this property is. When you want the beach and sun you will have to drive over to it. We had a wonderful time and loved coming back to the quiet cottage after being out and about all day.

Me and my brother went on a three day fishing trip and this place was perfect. The location was in a perfect spot in Morehead City. It was clean and the host was very accommodating to any needs I had. Will stay again next time I come down.

Beautiful Beach Retreat

I had a great stay at the house. Ideal location for those who want to be near the Morehead City waterfront with easy access via a short drive to Atlantic Beach as well. Owner provided all necessities for a great stay and also plenty of extras to make sure you have anything you could need to enjoy your stay.

The history alone is amazing, great location near Morehead water front. Do your homework and read about the Promise Land and how this neighborhood came about. The owner is very easy to communicate with and accessible. Great little getaway!

Cozy Guest Cottage

What a cute cozy cottage. Very well maintained and everything you need for a couple to stay. Great communication and all very well explained. The ONLY negative is… you need to know that in colder weather your only heat is space heaters. Since you don’t want to run them when you’re gone or sleeping 😴 it does keep it cool. Not so good when you have metal hardware in your back like me. If heat isn’t a concern I would highly recommend a stay.
