Cozy Cottage!!
This was our second stay and we love it! It's quiet, it's comfortable, it's beautiful, it's well maintained and minutes to Gilroy! The first night we had an issue with the fire pit and the owner went above and beyond rectifying the problem to make sure we were happy. Especially loved the creek behind and the wild turkeys and a peacock! We were unable to taste any wine this time, but we'll be back!!

Beautiful Romantic Setting
The Cottage was amazing. From the moment you drive through the gate through the vineyard and to your cottage. Beautiful trees everywhere and a creek running through the ravine off the back porch. Could not have been better.

Wedding Weekend Stay

Can I stay forever?
Seriously, this might be one of the most beautiful properties I have ever been to on vrbo. The vineyards are incredible and being able to roam around and walk the property in the morning was amazing. We saw wild turkeys and peacocks each day. My daughter loved looking at the creek and grapes growing on the vines. The cottage itself was impeccable and far better in person than the pictures show. The attention to detail in cleanliness, supplies, and care of the cottage is evident. Sam and Denise were absolutely fantastic, even attending to some user error questions I had. Sorry guys! We loved loved our time here and hope to stay again! Thank you again Sam and Denise!!

Beautiful cabin by the Uvas River
We loved this place! The cabin is just so comfortable and clean. We spent most of our time on the deck which overlooks the river and wooded area. We listened to the wild turkeys gobbling every morning and night. We were able to go out to the shore in 40 minutes for a beach walk and picnic. The weekend that we were there, we enjoyed a complimentary wine tasting and live music. Thank you Sam and Denise. We’ll be back!

Perfect Stay!
We stayed here for the weekend of our wedding, it was perfect! Location was great, place was clean, beautiful view of the creek in the back, cute picnic tables and trees in the front. Perfect getaway
Highly recommended for anyone wanting a nice relaxing getaway. Far enough from town to feel secluded but not too far away to go in for dinner and errands. Wine by the fire on the deck was definitely a highlight.

This property is absolutely gorgeous!! From the moment I was thinking about booking, I was in contact with the property owners about my stay. I booked this cottage for two nights as a space to get ready for my wedding at Eagle Ridge Golf Club - first night I stayed with my maid of honor and second night with my new husband. It was the most perfect place for my bridesmaids and I to get ready -super beautiful and peaceful. Upon arrival, check in was very easy, there was ample parking for everyone including makeup artists and photographers (total of 6 parking spaces), and my husband and I enjoyed the complimentary coffee sitting on the back porch watching deer and listening to the creek flow the morning after the wedding. The place is super clean and has all the amenities! I am so happy I booked this place and will likely come back for a quiet relaxing weekend retreat!

I reserved this cottage for the night before and night of my wedding. I saw other brides who have used this as their getting ready location, and I can definitely see why! It's beautiful inside. There's lots of windows, especially in the kitchen and living room area, so it had great natural lighting for makeup, pictures, and video. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and the property is very quiet and relaxing. It was a little hard to find at first, but the detailed directions helped, and check-in was easy. It also helped that it's just right around the corner from our wedding venue. While our stay went by very quickly, we enjoyed it!

Beautiful Property
This was an amazing property. The cottage was beautiful and very spacious. Favorite part was the evenings outside on the balcony patio by the creek with a fire and wine. I would love to give a full 5 start rating, but I can't. The listing says the bed is a Queen size. I have slept on a Queen for 25 years of my 38 year marriage, and this bed probably was a double. It was very small. The 1st couple nights were okay, but by the end of the week, I was so worried I would wake the hubby by turning over, I just couldn't sleep. If you are bigger than 5'5" or larger than a buck 20, this bed will be too small for you too. My Guy is 6'2" and I am 5'8" and our buck 20 days are long past. So it was a very small bed for us. Everything else was amazing though. And if they ever increase the bed size (the bedroom was huge and could easily fit a king) we will be booking again. The hosts Denise and Sam were great and very attentive without being seen. All other aspects of the stay were great.

I do want to confirm the bed is a Queen, we would never say it was a Queen and purchase a double for the property. I do appreciate your input about the bedroom being large enough to accommodate a king. When we purchase our next bed we will consider that:)

We had a fantastic long weekend on this wonderful property. It was the ideal location for us to explore Santa Cruz, Monterey, even Big Sur, and still escape the crowds to a peaceful getaway. A Stay in Calmness
It didn’t take long for Bev and I to fall in love with this place. We happen to be wine lovers so finding a place nestled in between vineyards with owners who produce wine was a natural fit. The cottage is built for 2. It was immaculate, well maintained and a joy to stay in. Owners were very helpful and friendly. It was quiet. It has a fine kitchen and since we both love to cook it was very accommodating. A few more details as to how to prepare our departure would be helpful but really no big deal. We just love the place and will be back next year

The serenity of this place would be hard to match. A wonderful cottage on a bubbling creek!
This place was lovely and clean with some nice features. The best part by far was the beautiful view of the creek and wooded hillside from the back deck. We were able to spot deer and fawns, wild turkeys, ducks and duckings, hawks, squirrels and lots of songbirds from the deck. The fire ring was a great feature as well as the huge windows. The bed and recliner loveseat were very comfortable and a nice kitchen with everything we needed. The owners even left a bottle of wine for our stay! The winery property was also lovely and the drive through the horse and wine country was scenic. You're out in the country but plenty of grocery stores and restaurants within a short drive. The only things I'd hope for would be additional comfortable places to sit (the loveseat was very comfortable but was kind of a tight for 2 adults), the other chair in the living room didn't have a view of the TV. It also would have been nice to have a dining table rather than just a counter with barstools so that we could play cards, games etc. Overall though, spacious and beautiful with a comfortable bed and really nice features. We'd love to stay here again sometime.

My husband and I booked this location for 10 year anniversary trip. The location was perfect as it was near enough to the coast, surrounded by wineries, and a short drive to Yosemite. Rest and Relaxation To The Max
Unfortunately, we were only able to stay one night at this beautiful, serene property which is located only 30 minutes from our own home. We wanted a little getaway for my 54th birthday and it was perfect. There was a bottle of wine, some bottled water, and coffee and tea available for us which were all great little touches. There were a deck of cards, which we enjoyed playing with out on the beautiful deck with a drink in the early evening prior to dinner. Plenty of linens, and an adorable little kitchen. The bedroom overlooked the little creek and the woods, what a gorgeous view to wake up to! The location is great, we hiked the day before checking in at Uvas, super! Would stay again in a heartbeat and we received great value for the amount paid. If you're looking, just book it!

I don’t want to tell you the truth!
I honestly do not want to tell you how fantastic this property was. The pics were nice but we often get misled by them and show up to a property only to see that the reality is quite different than the pics. This was not the case at cottage creek vineyards. This property was pristine and the house had everything we would need and more. The deck and creek were amazingly perfect. We saw deer, ducks, and beautiful water flowing through the creek. This is exactly why I don’t want to tell you about it but the owners have done such a perfect job with this little cottage, that feels much bigger, that I must let others know so they can enjoy it too. We plan to return soon and honestly can’t think of anything that would have made our stay better.

Heaven in Morgan Hill
Five stars all the way. What a joy to sit on back deck and listen to the rushing Uvas Creek. Well-appointed throughout the cottage with all the extras. But my stay wasn't long enough! I want to go back for sure...hopefully for a week! Outstanding accommodation.

Peaceful weekend away
My husband and I stayed at this cottage for a long weekend. It was just as the pictures show, but even better. The place is immaculate and had beautiful decor. The vaulted wood ceilings are stunning. Very peaceful location. We sat out on the deck one evening, lit the fire pit and enjoyed the creek below. Denise was very responsive to any questions I had. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Secluded getaway
Had a great time in Northern California. The house is fairly centralized. We traveled to San Francisco, Monterey, Santa Crouz, Big Sur andafew other stops in between. The house was clean and well maintained. Very secluded and lots of privacy. Beautiful creek below the house and very quiet. Felt like home. Highly recommend!

DELIGHTFUL! Like a Home Away from Home...
I was recently in Morgan Hill from Palm Springs to attend a grandson's high school graduation. Since many relatives and friends would be in town I opted to find my own accommodations. The usual chain hotels along the freeway where I have stayed before were always sterile and boring so I opted for something more interesting. On searching the web I came across the Cottage Creek Vineyards hosted by Sam and Denise. What a delightful place to stay...the beautiful cottage along a bubbling creek, breezes rustling the oaks off the back deck and the warm temperatures, but not too hot, all made for a perfect few days. The cottage had a well-equipped kitchen suited for my morning juice and coffee to making a gourmet dinner if desired. it was a delightful place to enjoy a relaxing early sunrise and then a midnight retreat after a busy day with the graduate and family/friends! It was too short a visit but it got my grandson graduated...my main mission for this trip. I certainly will stay again for my next visit with family in Morgan Hill and will have to check out the the progress of the newly planted grape vines and the construction of the pool behind Sam and Denise's new family home. To Sam and Denise, thank you for providing your guests with such an accommodating, well maintained and beautiful setting...it certainly was the perfect "Home Away from Home"!!! Rob
