Cross House Studio werd volledig gerenoveerd in 2019 om luxe accommodatie te bieden en is overal in een extreem hoge kwaliteit afgewerkt.

Het ligt in het centrum van dit populaire, pittoreske en historische dorp, op slechts 500 meter van het kasteel. Winkels, vriendelijke dorpscafés, leuke cafés en unieke bistro's liggen allemaal binnen 50 meter, maar het pand biedt nog steeds een rustig toevluchtsoord dat wordt weggestopt achter de hoofdstraat. Warkworth wordt gedomineerd door zijn mooie kasteel- en rivierwandelingen. Het is slechts 10 minuten lopen naar de zandbaai die zich uitstrekt van Alnmouth tot Amble in een Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty en ligt aan de kustroute met meer dan 20 mijl aan gouden zandstranden. Het is een ideale vakantiebasis voor het verkennen van de prachtige kustlijn in de buurt en de heuvels van Cheviot. Het kasteel en de tuinen van Alnwick liggen op 9 km afstand. Boottochten naar Coquet Island vanuit Amble slechts 2 mijl. Lokale golfbaan ½ mijl. Treinstation 3 mijl voor dagtochten naar Newcastle, Edinburgh en verder. Een lokale busdienst rijdt regelmatig voor meer lokale ritten. Dit is een ideale locatie voor het verkennen van de Heritage-kustlijn en verder. De studio bevindt zich achter het eigendom van de eigenaar, samen met nog een vakantieappartement.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely appartment in Warkworth. Hosts were lovely & helpful, offering advice on the area and the appartment was spotless & had everything we needed. The Mason Arms was great for food & drink and just across the road. Bertram's also lovely for Brunch. Would definately return.

Property is spacious. Bed very comfy. Shower hot and good power jet for after long walks. Cooking area is well equipped. Tea and coffee on arrival was welcome. The underfloor heating was a real luxury, our dogs loved it. feet.

Great place!

Loved this studio!! Perfect stay with a dog. The location in Warkworth is perfect for great dog walks and the garden is perfect for morning and evening toilets. Such a peaceful and tranquil setting. Very well equipped. Great places to eat and drink in the village.

Fantastic & friendly!

A fantastic studio apartment, sparklingly clean and with a fab shower. It has a lovely walled garden which we all enjoyed. The hosts and their dogs are very friendly! Warkworth has great places to eat. We can recommend the Masons Arms for good food and very welcoming staff. It's also an easy walk along to Amble Harbour Village where there are more food options. The area is very dog friendly and has lots of beautiful beaches. We enjoyed dinner at The Heart of Northumberland in Hexham followed by a walking tour, The Hidden Horrors of Hexham - both dog friendly. Most of the independent shops allow dogs including the wonderful Barter Books in Alnwick. Lara can help you plan your days as she has great knowledge of the area and is obviously passionate about it. Like everyone we met, she wants visitors to enjoy the area. We were blown away by the hospitality and hope to visit again soon!

Perfect stay for myself, husband and our small dog in the heart of beautiful Warkworth. Amazing garden, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Our stay in Warkworth

Lovely town, Lara was really helpful in giving advice on best pubs, walks etc. We thought parking might be an issue but it wasn't and we always found a space just around the corner from our studio. Great to have a garden to let the dogs into and feel safe that they couldn't escape! Did some amazing walks, and found Druridge Bay and country park great for the dogs as there was walks around lakes, paths, a cafe and beach access too! All in all, a fab stay. Big shout out to Jasper's in Amble where we had an amazing meal but you need to book well in advance.

Fantastic stay!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The studio is really cleverly built on to the owner’s house and has fantastic views of the garden. It was a perfect place for two, clean, roomy, bright and well-equipped. Warkworth itself is beautiful with great walks, lovely pubs and easy access to other neighbouring towns and villages. Highly recommended.

A wonderful stay!

Lovely studio accommodation, perfect for the two of us and our dog, just what we needed for a 4 night stay, bright and airy and lovely garden for our dog to stretch her legs. Fabulous location to explore the villages near and further away and just a 15 minute walk to Warkworth beach. There were so many places to eat but our favourites were The Fish Shack and Spurelli's ice cream parlour in Amble, The Landing cafe in Beadnell, and the Masons Arms in Warkworth was good for pub food and drinks...all so dog friendly. We also enjoyed browsing in The Greenhouse, just over the road from the accommodation. Just a couple of things to point out, parking wasn't easy all of the time...there is no parking at the accommodation so you have to park in the square or nearby streets, we often had to circle for a while and wait for a space. Although we didn't want to spend much time watching tv, the studio would benefit from a more up to date tv that would allow guests to login to their own Netflix or Prime account to relax after a long day exploring. Due to the poor signal, we didn't get to watch any TV at all or be able to use the DAB stereo. Overall, a wonderful stay.
