Avoriaz is simply a magical wonderland that was an incredible place to stay during the winter season.The location of the property was perfect. 20 m to the Carrefour supermarket, 20 m to ski hire, next to all the key restaurants and bars, and literally doorstep skiing as you step out the block door on to the snow.Ski locker situated in same building, and fast lift to apartment.We had family of 4 on this visit, and although tight, we managed OK, enjoying the little balcony that overlooked the slopes for evening views and unwinding. Partial views of sunsets. You will know everyone intimately by the time you leave with all sounds audible!Apartment had everything we needed including UK TV channels, hairdryer, cooking appliances, UK adaptors and a strong phone signal, but no WIFI- which depending on your perspective is good or bad.Beds (you need to hire sheets) were not the comfiest, but functional. I've never used a ceramic hob or combined microwave grill, and could have really used some manuals or instructions. We are fairly intelligent people but had no clue how to work these. Good hot water and central heating.I had to write a few times to Madame Doin in the weeks building up to the stay with general queries, and always got a prompt reply.The office you pick the keys up from is really limited in it's opening hours, so be careful if you have an issue or question. They are helpful if you can catch them.I'd absolutely recommend.
