A traditional Charente family home with a courtyard and garden in a quiet little hamlet

It is an ideal place for a quiet stay with family or friends in a large house with courtyard and totally enclosed garden. This large house of 130m2 on the first floor+1 has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets and can accommodate up to 8 people.

You will find on the first floor a large separate kitchen very well equipped, a large living room with a lounge area that can accommodate 8 people and a large dining table for 8 people, A mini-system with bluetooth connection is available in the living room as well as a flat screen TV. There is Free Pop fiber access with WIFI available throughout the house.

It is a real family home with all the necessary equipment for cooking. A large choice of crockery and glasses is available for lovers of beautiful tables. Possibility to dine outside (barbecue provided) either in the courtyard or in the garden with specially equipped areas.

On the first floor, there is a large bedroom with a bed for 2 people (140x190), a wardrobe and a very large desk ideal for working. This bedroom opens onto the garden through a large French window. Opposite this bedroom is a bathroom with a walk-in shower (120x90) and 2 sinks as well as a separate toilet.

Upstairs, there are 2 independent bedrooms:
- A large bedroom with a double bed (140x190), a single bed (120x190) and a wardrobe. This room has a bathroom with a shower cubicle, a sink and a Sanibroyeur type toilet. This room has 2 windows that open one onto the courtyard, the other onto the garden.
- A bedroom with a double bed (140x190), a single bed (120x190) and a wardrobe. There is also a small office that is very nice to work in. This room has a window that opens onto the courtyard.
In all rooms there are bedside lamps on each side of the bed so that you can read comfortably in bed.

There is no problem to park vehicles behind the house on the communal thatch.

The house is located 25km from Cognac (visit of the cellars and the Cognac museum) and 25 km from Angoulême (comic book museum, Saint-Pierre Cathedral, paper museum).
The municipal swimming pool is 3.5km away in Châteauneuf-sur-Charente where you can also swim in the Charente at the Bains des Dames. There is also a magnificent swimming spot, still in the Charente, in Saint-Simeux at 1.5km where there are 2 atypical restaurants open in season for dinners by the water and quiet!
In Chateauneuf-sur-Charente, there is a U supermarket, several bakers as well as a market on Thursdays and Saturdays. Every Friday from 2 p.m., there is a farmers' market in Mainxe-Gondeville at the Domaine du Tambourinour 10km away. At this market, there is a baker, a butcher, a butcher, an oyster merchant from Marennes Oléron, a cheesemonger (goat's cheese), a dairy cheesemaker (cow's cheese), duck products and quedges and fruit and vegetables.
For lovers of Romanesque art, the region is rich in churches and abbeys of the 12th century.
