But I happily enjoyed the porch, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. And, of course being able to walk to town or launch into the river makes the location perfect.'

'This well appointed Inn was fabulous! The room was spacious and very clean. Located in walking distance to everything. The bathroom was modern with marble vanity, large shower and penny tiled floor. As far as the bar and restaurant…a 10 out of 10. Cocktails were delicious and the food was outstanding. We plan to return in the future.'

'The woman that checked us in was very polite and helpful. The room was very clean. All the necessary soaps and linens were available. The bed was a little softer than we are used to, but still very comfortable. The A/C unit was easy to control. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and fresh! A good assortment of cereals, bakery items, juice, hot items (make your own waffles, a pre-made omelet tea, sausage patties and home fries). Would definitely book this hotel again.'

'We love the Mariner! This was our second stay and we plan on coming back. It’s simple but clean and effective. They execute service well, keep it clean and have plenty of room while offering the basics. Coffee in the hot tub for breakfast is a must do!'

'This ida beautiful hotel close to all beaches, dining, and shopping in ogunquit and wells. It is unique because it sits on a hill. Everything was great. The only reason for 4 stars is all the stairs. Be sure you know where your room is located because you might end up dragging your stuff up and down some steep and lengthy stair cases.'

'Mary & Tracy were the best hosts making sure we had fresh towels, suggesting restaurants & things to do, etc. The upper deck was welcoming with wonderful views. The room was clean, a comfortable bed with fridge and microwave. Ocean is right across the street.... bring your chairs!'
