'Adorable, quiet and comfortable. Small, but cozy. Didn't miss having a TV! Has enough other amenities that you shouldn't want for anything. Plus, there are many convenient stores within minutes. The grounds are lovely and Sunny & Cher, the two cats, will keep you company as you sit outdoors, relaxing. Or feed the chickens, they'll appreciate it. It was a pleasure meeting the owners. Hope to return for another stay.'

'The apartment was nice and clean. The living space is quite large. It was great because we were visiting a friend nearby. The neighborhood is lovely, but not close to the wineries if that’s what you’re coming for. '

'That's a perfect place to stay, both for adults only as well as families with small kids. Clean, with a well equipped kitchen, and enough space in one of the bedrooms from put a portable crib if needed. The property is all fenced so you can leave your kids/pets outside without fear of them running out on the street. And there are toys for kids, including some for outdoor play; really great to keep kids busy. We especially loved lots of outdoor space, and hope to come back again in fall and try...

'We had a really nice stay in Pollock Pines. The house was clean with plenty of beds. The kitchen was very large and completely stocked for all our needs. We even made muffins for breakfast! I contacted the host to clarify check in details and directions before we left, and we had no problems. Kathleen gave us very detailed directions, and she always answered my messages promptly. We had a great time visiting with family!'

'Perfect location near downtown Placerville and not far from the start of the Apple Hill region. Everything was outstanding! Owners were very nice and Sandra, the Owner’s sister checked on us to ensure our stay was going well. It’s a nice, quiet, quaint cottage and met our needs very well. We enjoyed the private deck next to the fountain and pond with some wine one evening. Highly recommend! '

'My husband and I wanted to find a place that we could enjoy our anniversary, bring our doggie and still get some work done remotely. Since we were there from Tuesday through Saturday, my husband had a few meetings he could not miss. The wifi was great for his meetings and the property was great for me and our pup to run around and explore. we requested the pool heated knowing there would be a cost and they were very generous and gave us half of the days for free. We enjoyed our night swims...

'We’re from Los Angeles and didn’t know much about Placerville before our visit, but we were pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of activities nearby, and we enjoyed every single one. The house was spotless, and the owner was incredibly friendly. It was also conveniently close to downtown and local attractions.The only thing the house needs is a better WiFi. It’s super slow during our stay.'
