'We had the most fantastic stay at The Mount Desert House! Bill and Tina’s home/property was perfect for our family vacation to the Bar Harbor area. The kids were able to play in the yard with their awesome German shepherd, Murray. The outdoor/cookout area was perfect for hamburgers on the grill followed by an evening fire in the fire pit. 'This home was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We have spent a week near Acadia National Park for many years and this home was our favorite. We found the setting peaceful and enjoyed the sounds of the loons on the lake. We enjoyed hiking, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and biking on the carriage roads.
