Best place to stay
Extremely clean, well equiped, fridge was filled with lots of stuff. Great luxurious bathrooms and an awesome fireplace. Owners even supplied bear spray and information hikes in the neighboorhoud. Can not recommend enough. Thanks for the great stay!

Fantastic location, cozy suite and excellent host
We stayed three nights and had a fantastic time. Carmen's property is immaculate and welcoming, and the close proximity to Mount Robson Provincial Park can't be beat. This property is highly recommended.

The cabin is beautiful and really nicely arranged. Carmen is fantastic host. The only small downside is that it is located really close to highway 16 where there are very large trucks, which is fine as long as the windows are closed. But otherwise this place is truly fantastic.

We stay there for four nights. We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful open space carefully designed.This is a wonderful place, with nice flours and gardens around, very close to Mount Robson. Carmen was very helpful and caring, answering all our requests promptly. We would return anytime. This will clearly be among the places from which we'll keep great memories.

Wonderful mountain retreat!
We loved staying at this beautiful house in the woods near a mountain stream with great views of Mount Robson. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, and there are two really nice bathrooms. There is satellite TV and good wifi. Saw a mama black bear with three cubs 20' from the front door. Several great hikes plus river rafting nearby, and about an hour drive to Jasper.

Perfect little getaway

Delightful cottage in the Rockies
We were two retired couples traveling in the Canadian Rockies. This was a very cute, nicely decorated cottage. Each couple had their own private bedroom and bathroom. The showers in each bath were amazing! We cooked a couple of meals there, and the kitchen was well-stocked. Incredible scenery and good hiking trails nearby. Only complaints were that it was easy to bump your head when accessing the closet in the upstairs bedroom, and maybe a sign over the closet would help. Also, the door knob from the upstairs bedroom to the bath didn’t work very well. We really enjoyed our stay here, though, and would definitely stay there again!

Great Retreat
Beautifully appointed home. Open concept with log cabin appeal and big windows. Soaker tub and heated floors were a dream after a long hike. A bit closer to the highway than we realized but the home softened the noise nicely. Great hosts! Hope to be back again soon.

This cabin is perfect for a stay at the amazing Mt Robson. Tastefully done with a rustic modern vibe and appointed with everything you need to cook up some great meals. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms have beautiful tile work and rain shower heads. 5 out of 5 for sure!

The kitchen was extremely well stocked. All sorts of spices, condiments, coffee, sugar which was nice to have available when cooking. The firepit was well stocked up with dry wood. The chairs were easy to sink into and the beds were even more comfortable. Great location and great experience.

Mt Robson Getaway
My family and I had nothing short of a spectacular mini-holiday at Carmen's properties. Looking to finally leave our home in the big city and retreat to a breathtaking mountain hideaway during this COVID madness was wonderful. The Revelation Valley Carriage House is one of the triplets in the Norlander trio of beautiful luxury homes set on the west boundary of Mt. Robson Provincial Park. All three homes are made from logs harvested when the property was cleared and are the end product of skilled craftmenship, attention to detail and thoughtful architecture. The Carriage house is spatious, perfectly appointed at the executive level, e.g., heated tile flooring in the ensuite to the master bedroom, a kitchen meant for cooking and stocked with all manner of appliances, utensils, and basic cooking ingredients (flour, salt, sugar, pepper, coffee, oils, etc.). The properties are scrupulously clean upon your arrival...the wildlife everywhere (bears, pine martens, ungulate, squirrels and birds) and the scenery breathtaking. The weather was what was predicted - rainy - and the mosquitoes were "friendly", but we had a wonderful time nonetheless. Hiking trails were easy to find and graded for all skill and endurance levels. Valemount was a short drive away and had an excellent grocery store and BC liquor store...and a good ice cream shop and brew pub, all rolled into one. Carmen was friendly, constantly working on the property to mow extensive lawns, and trim the ever growing shrubbery, and had we needed anything, would have been there to help. We have nothing but top flight recommendations to make to anyone interested in seeing such a beautiful place in the world while staying in the pinnacle of comfort for an extremely reasonable price. Visiting Jasper & Mt. Robson
The facility worked for us. You do hear the traffic from the highway, but it did not bother us. Also, at first the distance to Jasper concerned us. Then we identified several wonderful local natural attractions to explore, so we stayed close to home. We recommend that you take in Rearguard and Outlander Falls. The hike to Kinney Lake is well worth the time commitment. We drove to Valemount to visit a potter and the Swiss Bakery. In Jasper, we took the boat ride on Maligne Lake to Spirit Island and viewed Maligne Canyon. Also, in Jasper, we canoed on Pyramid Lake. In the Jasper area of the Icefields Parkway, take in the Athabasca Falls. Enjoyed a meal at the "Raven" in Jasper.

Carmen’s place is very special with great attention to detail. The gardens and flowers quaint. The house is clean and new and well stocked. Carmen is very accessible while we were there and very quick to respond to any questions. The house is located about 5 minutes from Mt Robson visitors center and about an hour outside of Jasper. Yes there is some road noise but you don’t hear it inside the house and you quickly get use to it outside and don’t notice it. If you are looking for something to get away from the crowds this is your place. Only downside was that they don’t allow campfires. Totally understand with threat of fires but still disappointing.

We loved our recent stay at the Carriage House! It was top-notch in so many ways. We were 4 adults visiting Jasper NP. We spent 1 day exploring the nearby Mt. Robson hikes and waterfalls, which were an added bonus. The house was a comfortable place to come back to dnd the cozy fireplace was wonderful. Our friends slept in the twin beds- and bedrooms are small (no dressers) but we didn’t mind. Everything else was super! Only regret not meeting Carmen, however she was nearby if needed, and the hospitality was felt through special touches!

The Carriage House in Valemount exceeded our expectations.
Our stay at the Revelation Valley Carriage house was exceptional. From the moment we arrived it became our home away from home. It had all the comforts of home and we really enjoyed the wood burning fire place at the end of the day. You can tell that Carmen and her husband take great pride in their vacation home and surrounding property. The location is close to Mt. Robson Visitor Center and nearby hiking trails. The surrounding sights were beautiful with mountains, lakes and waterfalls. I will definitely recommend this rental. Carmen and her husband are only a phone call away if needed.

Beautiful house and location
This house was beautiful and immaculate. It was perfect for our family of four. The kids were able to have their own beds in the bedroom on the lower level. Anything you could possibly need was here. The setting was beautiful too. Although there was some noise from the highway, it was nothing that kept us awake at night. Wished we could have stayed longer as there is a lot to do in Jasper National Park and the surrounding area of this cabin.

Great house and host but location near highway let it down for us
Its a lovely house and the host was very accommodating. Everything that we could possibly want was provided and we appreciated that. The issue for us (which we didnt realise from the booking description) was that it is right beside a major highway and the sound of the trucks and their compression brakes even at night just spoilt the atmosphere of being in the mountains. Although there is a lovely outdoor setting and bbq its just not the same when you can here (and see sometimes) cars and trucks tearing past. No previous reviews had mentioned that issue so I feel that I should for others who might base their bookings on similar desires as ours to get away from the noise and traffic. There are lovely Planting's in the garden and the hosts have done everything possible in this location to make a beautiful home, just not one I could recommend for the reasons above.

We are sorry that you experience some intermittent road noise. Fish and Wildlife set up a temporary invasive mussel inspection station (June-Sept) on the Highway, near the Gatehouse not knowing that the Gatehouse was nearby and within earshot of watercraft vehicles braking to turn in (as well as those behind them). While our complaints for our guests has resulted in the Agency expanding the reduced speed zone, the narrow Robson Valley corridor still reverberates noise. We are again in discussions with this Federal Agency and hope to have a solution---moving their temporary Station away from residential areas--- by 2018.

Beautiful house with great attention to detail!
My family of 3 stayed for 3 nights and found the house immaculate in every way - the quality and finish of everything was superb. It was the sort of property one would specify if you were going to live there permanently, not use as a temporary rent - Carmen was a great host, there if required, but leaving guests in privacy. The setting was stunning, very peaceful, close to Mt Robson visitor centre, and convenient for travelling around the area. The property was just as described, with good basic provisions supplied, and we would certainly recommend it. We all wished we could have stayed longer! We have rented properties in a number of countries, and this was one of the nicest we have stayed in!
