Internet connection was horrible. No communication with property owners. They forgot to email check in instructions but internet was so bad i had to drive back out to highway in ordet to get good enough service to sort things out. Property was quiet that was really the only nice thing about it.

Nice property
Studio is beautiful and has all the amenities. We really enjoyed our stay. Just that locks are hard to open and lock. Also, please modify checkout instructions like it asks for put dishes in dish washer but there is no dish washer in studio. Also it says checkout time as 11pm. It must be 11am. 😁

Great price, views and location!
This is a quiet stay with everything you need in a house. Dont pack extras as all supplies at home is covered there. Laundry soap, dish soap n extras Its so affordable and the place is cute! Communication with host was fast, i asked if there was a microwave before heading there and got a reply quick. Check out easy too, just do dishes n take garbage out. Super quiet stay. Very pleased with low price and stay. Highly recommended 👌

Lovely loft in a quiet area. It may seem like you are going to the wrong place since there are not many homes around but are storage facilities, however it is a nice place to stay. The stars were so bright since there was little other light. It was a great space for one or two people and comfortable.

Shasta hiking and skiing paradise
We got at least three feet of snow the night before we checked out. We had snow shovels to dig out and the snow plow came by at 7am to clear the road. So beautiful! Great walking trails too. Should have brought my cross country skis too. We loved it! The water runs real hot and the shower head water is piercing.

The a-frame is charming. They have put a lot of work into it, and it was exactly right. A few glitches --heating, wifi--were solved by the property manager who responded to every request.

Well stocked
Nice space, very well stocked kitchen. View of Mt Shasta is now obscured by trees, and the studio is very near I-5 and the train, but otherwise feels remote. Good value. I enjoyed my stay,, and especially the porch with view of Black Butte. If you are sensitive to fragrances, you might have difficulty with the use of air fresheners.

Overall, great!
Great location. Super quiet and really nice views from the windows. Very spacious studio. Kitchen had all you need if you are cooking (which we did). The gas fireplace kept the space nice and cozy. The only downside was the bed (and futon). Both so uncomfortable. But, otherwise, the place was fantastic and the price can't be beat!

you get what you pay for. sometimes a bit less.
Im sorry to have to give such a poor review, but maybe this will open some eyes. We entered the unit and the carpet smelled like pot smoke. We looked for the heater to warm the place up and found an unvented propane heater and a carbon monoxide sensor adjacent that looked to be from 1980. Don't burn fossil fuels indoors unvented, just don't. We set our sights on the wood burning stove for warmth but found no firewood on the property. i called the number on the fridge and reached a storage lot that wouldn't be open for another 3 days. So off we went to the store for firewood. We then went to put the groceries in the fridge, later the next day we discovered the fridge was not on. a few nice touches in the unit were the fold up tv tray side tables, the crooked rock hard futon, and the mattress that sure did feel like a trampoline. Do yourself a favor, spend a little more and enjoy your weekend anywhere but here.

The property is halfway between Weed an Mt. Shasta City. If you want to be near one or the other look elsewhere. The stairs are steep for 80 year-olds, the cooking and eating utensils should have been cleaner, but otherwise was very adequate.

Last minute booking
We decided last minute to go up to Mount Shasta on Fourth of July weekend. There was not a lot available to rent and We knew ahead of time we weren’t getting the Ritz Carlton. That being said the smoke smell from cigarettes as well as pot were very extremely prominent! The carpet needs to be ripped out due to stains and just the inground smell of cigarettes and pot. I will say I’m a sheet snob! That being said the sheets on the bed were threadbare and all pilled up as well as the pillows being in need of replacement. We had the ac fan on all night which drowned out the train noise. The train tracks are very close but it didn’t bother us with the fan on. The place has a lot of potential but it needs new carpet and the walls need to be sealed with Kilz and painted to get the smoke smell out of it. The manager was very nice and helpful. Overall we won’t stay again unless we are hard pressed.

A slight mix up
We booked the smaller of the 2 properties available through these hosts. We realised there was a small mix up in booking. We requested early check in which they so graciously accommodated. However through our request we realised the website had allowed a double booking. The hosts quickly responded and set us up in their larger cabin at the same rate as the smaller loft. Boy did we luck out! It was a very clean, well stocked home. Great views, quick access to hikes, restaurants and shopping. This is a great location if you want to explore both Mt. Shasta and weed. Directly in the middle of both. I would definitely book this place again! It was my 34th bday weekend and definitely one to remember! There have been comments about the train tracks, I tend to be a light sleeper but never really noticed the sound.

Great stay
It seems like this studio has been improved since a couple of previous reviewers. There is a large smart TV that not only has plenty of channels, but you can hook up to youtube, netflix, etc. There's also a microwave as well as the rest of a full kitchen, which was appreciated. Great hot water and delicious Mt. Shasta water directly from the tap. Good water pressure in tub/shower unit. Lots of fluffy bath towels in addition to hand towels. Had to go buy another roll of TP because the second roll that was provided looked water logged siting under the sink. There were no paper towels in kitchen, which made cooking a little challenging. It would have been nice to have had an extra skillet and oven casserole dish, but I made do. No indoor garage parking even though a previous guest appears to have enjoyed it. The garage is too full to park a car in at the moment. Maybe that changes with the seasons. There is a delightful gas firestove/heater near the bed that is on a thermostat, so you can enjoy that. I didn't think the bed felt like a trampoline at all. Just a normal Queen sized bed. Lots of nice pillows. Futon extends out and extra linens were provided for that. The studio was large - it didn't "feel" like a studio and it was private. We felt our music, dancing, laughing loud and other loud noises ("ahem") we made were no problem because of the distance to the next door unit. No common walls. And we felt perfectly safe, despite a previous reviewer talking about doors not locking. Don't understand that. Also the train did go by 4 or 5 times during the night, but it was kind of cool rather than a bother. When I decided to use my earplugs a following night, I couldn't hear it at all. All in all, I'd love to stay here again in the future. Basic coffee provided and salt and pepper. Anything over than that, like spices or cooking oils, bring yourself. This isn't luxury, but it was very cozy, private, spacious, comfortable, and it provided just about everything we needed for a great three day stay.

It’s a good size of Apartment, very private, need a woman touch, extra cleaning will help, no extra beddings for a futon bed, I was glad that I brought my own, and make sure to bring your own bathroom needs Including toilet paper and shampoo

Adequate but rough
Pros- good location, clean, garage parking. Cons- bed was like a trampoline, a train runs right next to the property, the a.c. unit was louder than the train, no microwave, no dishwasher, no radio/music, no tv, wifi nonexistent, the adjacent property door doesn't lock making access to this unit easy... locked doors or not, garbage from the previous tenant was in the garage when we got there, only bath towels, no face or hand towels. Alright enough whining, we were here during the worst air quality in recent history, couldn't even see Shasta, so the loud a.c. was a blessing. We had ear plugs so problem solved. I cooked on a Weber that was beat. I managed to bend the lid so it actually sealed, but hey I had a Weber (the owner also bought a Smokey Joe but I felt guilty opening it when there was a kettle). I guess the bottom line here is that for the price this place was not as nice as others we have stayed at. Tourist town and all I get it. I'd pay the extra 20 bucks a night and shop a little harder next time.

Cute, quiet, clean little bungalow
Awesome little bungalow! Comfortable for two, in a quiet area with a great view of black butte! Centrally located between Weed and Mt shasta. Clean and cozy! Had a wonderful stay and definitely recommended! Thank you!
