'I was delightfully surprised at how lovely the rooms were when we opened the door. From the outside, it looked like a well kept old style motel but the rooms were definitely modern, spacious, and very well cared for - not dated at all! The extra bonus of an outdoor picnic area was a pleasant discovery, as well.'

'Here to visit family, and they told me my parents had stayed at this property when they visited over 40 years ago! It's a vintage motor court, but nicely maintained. The room is up to date and comfortable. The bathroom still has a 70s tub and sink, but clean and functional. One quirk: the sink was mounted very low, about thigh level on me. Had to bend low to wash my face! Overall a satisfactory stay.'

'A long road trip to Maine required an overnight stay to break up the drive. I chose Colby Hill Inn over any chain hotel for its promising charm, mostly and restaurant. The building is old and dated but therein lies its charm. Rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. There are parlors on the first floor where a TV can be found.
