Bodenhammer Cabin - Mountain Home Arkansas

Mijn hut bevindt zich in het hart van Mountain Home Arkansas, hoewel het in de stad door de zeer grote tuin een landelijke uitstraling heeft. De cabine is ideaal voor zakenreizigers en gezinnen op vakantie. Veel van onze gasten komen hun familie bezoeken en willen een huis in plaats van een hotel. Het is gewoon een geweldige plek om te ontspannen.

Mountain Home ligt tussen twee meren, Norfork Lake en Bull Shoals Lake. Het is slechts een korte rit van drie rivieren, de Buffalo National River, White River en North Fork River. U kunt genieten van allerlei watersporten zoals varen, kanoën en zwemmen. Als je van vissen houdt is dit de plek waar je moet zijn, we staan bekend om het hele jaar door geweldig vissen, evenals een verscheidenheid aan visstijlen, zoals vliegvissen. Het gebied heeft fantastische wandelpaden, zoals de bekende Indian Rock House Nature Trail op de Buffalo River, de Whitaker Point Trail op het bovenste Buffalo Wilderness-gebied, veel paden in de buurt van Blanchard Springs Caverns, evenals lokale paden zoals David's Trail. We hebben een aantal geweldige plekken om te genieten van paardrijden en als u van golfen houdt, heeft Mountain Home twee prachtige golfbanen.

We zijn minder dan een uur rijden van Mountain View, dat bekend staat om volksmuziek en ambachten. Het Ozark Folk Center en de beroemde Blanchard Springs Caverns bevinden zich in de buurt van Mountain View.

I loved the cabin! It was perfect for my reunion with family. The reasons i didn't give it a 5 star were that the furniture was not very comfortable, there was no oven and the microwave was not easily accessible as it was above the refrigerator. Otherwise, it was a wonderful place for a relaxing weekend.

We absolutely loved this place. I am quite particular about cleanliness and a comfy bed and this far exceeded my expectations. This place is unique, well made, peaceful, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. My husband and I slept in the upstairs loft (very large bedroom with a half-bath). There are four sunlight windows in the roof. I found it absolutely wonderful to wake up in that extremely comfortable bed with the sunlight shining in. Temps were easy to adjust for comfort in the whole place. We enjoyed sitting on the porches watching birds and squirrels, enjoying the peace and quiet. The location was great as it was close to downtown and other conveniences but you would never know it. I walked the mile to downtown and to Walgreens. Easy. We loved this place so much and of all the VRBOs we've stayed at, and there have been many, this was one of the best ever. We'll likely be coming back to the area and will definitely be looking for this accommodation when we do. Host was very responsive and provided a great deal of needed information for the stay. It was an incredible visit.

Cozy Cabin!

Beautiful cabin with gorgeous woodwork and stonework. One screened in porch and an upstairs outside patio. There is also a small firepit out back. The kitchen was well stocked with all appliances and everything needed for onsite cooking.The mattresses and linens were very nice also. There are neighbors nearby, but when we saw them they were very friendly. This is a great place to relax and have fun. setting

Cabin in town

The cabin was wonderful. So much work gone into the decor. I like the fact that you were close to everything in town but when you sat on the porches or back room, you felt like you were out in the woods. It was furnished with everything we needed. It was a good time. I would stay again, but I will say it needs at least one comfortable chair. The seating was beautifully made, but not very comfortable. That wasn’t a big deal but just wanted to mention that thank you so much for your hospitality.

Beautiful, secluded gem

It is a beautiful, relaxing place to be with family or to just unwind. Kitchen was stocked with everything, lots of towels, very comfortable bed. My mom and aunt live close by there and they had no idea this place was even there. It was like no one was even around, but you are close by to places. I would recommend this place to people. I would come again. Two thumbs up 👍👍

This property was wonderful for our trip to see family in Mountain Home! The interior was stunning and clearly created by a master woodworker, with much attention to details. The home was clean, accessible to the college, parks, and restaurants. You are in town, but you feel like you are in the country. We will definitely stay again when visiting our relatives.

Surprisingly awesome

When pulling up, I wasn’t convinced that it would be very quiet or private to be honest. The way it’s set up, once you are in the cabin, it’s like a transformation. You don’t hear any cars. All you see is grass and trees. From the front it seems like other houses are quite close..but you’d never know it. It was so peaceful. It’s like this hidden gem of a secret garden that you’d never know exists. I am 100% staying here for my next trip. I know it’s a weird thing to say but the water pressure was amazing. Cabins a lot of times have crappy pressure. This place was better pressure than back home! Makes for a lovely shower! Even a washer dryer to use if needed. It truly has everything and feels very state of the art with cool lighting and a stocked kitchen with everything you could need and then some. I can’t say enough good things about this place!

Cabin stay!!

We just loved our cabin!! Sooooo clean and all the supplies provided were 100%! We also enjoyed pur privacy and not sure how they did it but we had a beautiful cardinal singing to us when we arrived and everyday!! Lol !! would definitely recommend this rental
