'I didn’t expect to spend as much time in the apartment while touring NYC, but plans changed and it ended up being the perfect haven. As other reviews mentioned, the apartment truly has everything you need. It’s surprisingly spacious for an attic unit, and the kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans, a full-size refrigerator, and a microwave.I especially liked that the living room and bedroom each had their own thermostat. 'The location was nice & the host had water in the fridge as well as some snacks for us when we arrived which was really sweet of them. The commute to NewYork was not bad at all. We would definitely book again if we were to ever return. There was a lovely cafe at the corner that had delicious breakfast/pastries and the staff were very friendly. Overall everything about this location was wonderful ! '

'Our stay was very nice. We felt safe in the house because of the off street parking, and multiple locked doors. The stairs up to the room were a little tricky to use. The neighborhood made me feel a little weary, but the street this listing was on felt safer than the others. Overall, the place served our purpose for our stay, and it was enjoyable and homey.'

'The host is very nice and responsive. But...No paper towels or hand soap. No way to control the temperature. It was 66 and we were all pretty cold as the temp outside was 30 or below. Fireplace does not bring up the temp. The property smells like cigarette smoke. There were plenty of air freshners but those combined with the smoke odor really flared my allergies. It was very strong to me- but it may not bother someone else.'
