Laat deze Collins Lake Condos vakantiewoning uw toegangspoort tot alle activiteiten die beschikbaar zijn in en rond het Collins Lake Resort van 28 hectare. Deze retraite biedt luxe voorzieningen zoals een gedeeld zwembad, een bubbelbad en een sauna. Het is de ideale plek voor uitstapjes met het hele gezin. Binnen heb je een 50-inch flatscreen-tv en een gashaard. Het balkon biedt uitzicht op de bergen, gefilterd door de dennen.

Wat is in de buurt:
Government Camp is het perfecte hoofdkwartier voor plezier in de zomer of in de winter. Er zijn veel wandel- en fietspaden in de buurt van dit chalet. Skiërs kunnen profiteren van de Vacasa-special op Mount Hood Meadows of naar een van de vijf nabijgelegen skigebieden gaan. Hongerig? Volg de wandelpaden op korte afstand van het nabijgelegen Government Camp, waar u een verscheidenheid aan restaurants vindt. Gasten bevinden zich ook op slechts een steenworp afstand van het Collins Lake clubhuis met zijn grote Cascadiaanse stenen open haard.

Needs some improvements

Plumbing did not work well upstairs in hall shower and required plunging. The master bath sink leaked inside the cabinet and got all the toilet paper wet. Kitchen cooking utensils need updating. The bunk bed space is more like a closet with no windows, no door and no privacy. It would have been nice to have known there was no privacy in this space, but this was not clear in the write up and not shown in the pictures. Kitchen refrigerator leaked water on the top shelf and created a mess. Master bedroom mattress was uncomfortable, but the room was fine. The dresser drawers need to be wiped down. Metal hangers in the closet was not ideal for clothes we brought to hang. We had extra blankets and pillows but no extra pillowcases.Living room and 2nd floor area was nice for hanging out. More options to hang clothes (not in closets) would be nice with all the snow gear.

Family New Years Trip

We had a wonderful time spending New Years at Collins Lake. The condo was clean and comfortable. A couple things that need attention is the lower right burner on the stove was not working (I think I saw this issue on a previous clients comment) and a few more serving plates or bowls would have been nice. Lastly the master bedroom mattress is needing to be replaced since it has a dip in the middle of the mattress so it was a bit uncomfortable. But overall it was a great stay and we would come back again:) (hopefully with this items addressed) Thank you!

Wonderful Weekend Stay

The chalet was clean with ample towels, blankets and toiletries. Little did we know we would be without power for 29 hours due to freezing temperatures and snow! Thank goodness there were 2 battery operated lanterns and detailed instructions in the binder so we were able to stay warm enough using the gas fireplace and gas stove to make tea. The Vacasa staff were helpful too. It was so nice to have a garage and well appointed kitchen. If it weren't for the weather and icy roads, we would have easily walked to the restaurants and shops in town. It is a 5 minute drive to the Timberline shuttle parking lot or 20-30 minutes to drive up to the lodge (depending on road conditions.) When we had power, there were detailed instructions for using the TV. We were not able to use the pool. Overall a great place for our family of 3.

Great location but not very clean upon arrival

The condo wasn’t that clean when we arrived. Towels and sheets had not been washed, the kitchen floor and sink had food crumbs and one of the toilets wasn’t flushed. Coffee pot was missing and DVDs were missing from their cases. However, the location was perfect and close to great restaurants, a cafe, and the general store. Location was also great for getting to hiking trails. Appreciated the no contact check in and check out process.

Wonderful Condo

We had a lovely time with our young boys, can't beat the easy access to Ski Bowl. Nice to be so close to town. House is very well equipped with everything you could need. Looking forward to visiting again.

We were dissapointed that the site showed a pool and hot tub and was featured that way in the ad, but everything was closed due to covid. We should have been given that information up front. Very poor communication. There was no number to call to ask about that when booking the property. We had a hard time getting information about the check in process.

Had a great time at Collins Lake Resort. Only downside was the pool was closed. It’s located within an easy walking distance from town. We have already booked our next stay for this winter!

Property was nice but no WiFi the entire stay

The property was nice, clean, good layout, spacious, etc. However, we never had any WiFi and had multiple calls with the Vacasa representative and local property manager and no one solved the problem. Had a very weak cellular signal so had to limp along with that using a hotspot through the phone cellular to get work done, which will cost us $$ as we burned through our ATT data plan. The Vacasa representative responded to all my communications but could not do anything to help us. The local property manager acted like they were trying to help but never followed up and didn’t solve the problem. In addition the garage code didn’t work and luckily they had a lock box with key so we could manually operate the garage door. But seriously, seems like the housekeeping staff should be checking that everything is working properly and if not report it the manager before the next guest arrives so that it can be fixed. As far as the location from the mountain, it’s a good location and Government camp has a few restaurants and a general store so it’s easy to go out for a meal and get things you need. The ski areas are just ok - Ski Bowl was not open during the day mid-week (only night skiing) so we went to Timberline which has mostly beginner and intermediate terrain. Given that Timberline (which is higher elevation than Mt Hood Ski Bowl) was right at the snow line, and in fact, was mostly just pouring rain (in mid-January) we opted to ski only 2 days of the 4 days we were there. The amenities included Netflix, Amazon Prime and some TV, but no Sports channels. All in all the property was good but the lack of internet was really an inconvenience.
