'Joules and her Son were absolutely wonderful hosts. We couldn’t have been made to feel any more welcome and we had absolutely everything we needed for our stay.
The breakfast was outstanding - lots of choice and super fresh and tasty.
Joules’ baking was a great surprise treat, a lovely touch in our room on arrival and the Brownies later in our stay were out of this world!
Our room was spotless, very comfy bed, lovely armchairs with the spectacular view over Ironbridge and the valley....

'Highly recommend to stay at Cromwell’s Tap House. It’s located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. 'Very characterful room, staff were most welcoming and made a lovely fuss of our little dog , as well as giving him a sausage at breakfast time. Nice to have a bath too. Excellent value for money, will stay again.'

'A great quite deceivingly large property with some great old features. The standard of the fixtures and fittings are very high and the brownies on arrival were amazing. Much Wenlock is a li ely setting with pmenty of shops, cafe's and pubs.'

'Room was clean, we stayed in the lodge, so could park the car directly outside our room. Very dog friendly hotel, bar has a good selection of beers and wines,food was excellent. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
