What I didn't like is dishonesty. I drank two beers 175 rupees each) from the mini bar. One on Wednesday and one on Thursday. During check out I mentioned it and asked to pay. The staff printed a statement that read 3 beers. I complained and they kept saying I drank 3 beers. My wife confirmed I only drank two. My Uber was waiting so I paid in cash 2 beers (beer service fee taxes = 225 rupees each). I felt uncomfortable with the fact that they wanted to charge me extra by adding one more beer. It is not about the money (3 USD) it is about being honest and doing the right thing. Customers book a hotel expecting to be treated with respect and honesty.

Pros: location was great next to many tourist attractions, service was great, complimentary breakfast was great, happy hour all day 2 for 1.
Cons: weak wifi, weak water pressure, iron didn't work, door key card kept malfunctioning.

The hotel is located less than 10 minutes walk from the Gateway of India and the Taj Hotels. It is on a quiet road and appeared to be a nice safe area.
We booked a suite room, and it was well appointed. Lots of lights and mirrors everywhere, and had a bath tub which was very nice. Hot water was available at any time and we had only minor niggles which once reported were dealt with by the hotel swiftly.
We were left a nice welcome treat also, which was unexpected but fully appreciated, thank you.
I felt this was really good value for money, although i did not have time to use the pool facility or gym etc.
Would stay again, if wanting to stay in the area again.

Hotel is fine. Was given a room that was told was on a no smoking floor but the room definitely had a Smokey smell.

Okay hotel, if you're not looking for luxury
Fariyas Hotel is okay, but not worth the price, I'm my opinion. The location is convenient in Colaba. The lobby is very nice, but the rooms are quite basic. The restaurant is fine. The swimming pool and outside area don't invite you to use them.

Near the Gateway of India. The place is good and convenient. Check in process was a little slow but they still let me check in 90 min before my check in time. The man at the door( Surjan ) was very nice and pleasent. I like that the streetfood is literally a 2 min walk from the hotel.

A good hotel not far from Gateway to India
I got a suite on the 10th floor and was really happy about the room. The bed was very comfortable and there was a nice view over the Indian Ocean from the sitting room.
The room was very clean. Wi-fi was good, and I had video calls with no problem.
Breakfast was good, on level 1, with good quality food.
The personnel it really putting efforts to go the extra mile and help. I checked at 1am, as my flight landed at 11.30 and was glad to have a soft comfortable bed.

Great location, but maybe a tad pricey!
Great location, right in the midst of Colaba by the water. Had a bit of a room mixup in the beginning, we’d asked for a twin room but got a double instead. But they fixed it immediately for us when we called them. The staff was very helpful and polite. And the breakfast buffet was great!

One of the better hotels in the south of the city, location is great for getting around without being noisy as it's a couple of minutes off the causeway and nice and close to the sea! Staff were very friendly and courteous and always welcoming.

Great hotel in a great location
The staff at Fariyas were incredible. They were very out going and always helped me out when they could. The actual rooms were average, although I have never stayed in another Mumbai hotel, so I can only compare it to hotels in other cities. The place was very clean and felt very safe. Plus it is just a couple blocks from the Colaba Market and the Gateway of India.

This hotel was average in its staff and cleanliness and location, nothing spectacular about it. Only advantage is that it is close to some of the sights and art gallerias in the Southern part of Mumbai. Breakfast was also average.

I had to move rooms three times as the first two need repairs in bathroom and humming noice; thus very difficult to sleep. My third room, after a few moderations was terrific.
The meal service, breakfast buffet were first class; the chefs were willing to made accommodations to meal choices. The pool steps are still round steps; very difficult to use. After my request for change last there they still remain the same.
