Serenity in the Pines - Luxury Cabin in Munds Park

Looking for a perfect vacation getaway? Come relax in our gorgeous, 2750+ Sqft cabin surrounded by pines in Munds Park. Large open floor plan offers a spacious living room, a gourmet kitchen, 2 bedrooms on the main level, 3 bedrooms on the top level and a game room on the lower level. The views from every room are just spectacular! Look out the big windows or enjoy a glass of wine on the large deck surrounded by pine trees and mountain views!
The space:
The cabin is located at the foot of a small mountain with amazing views of the whispering pines from every room. A big Private Deck with Amazing Sunset views and outdoor patio amenities.The backyard is a mountain terrain, not fenced in to keep the rustic feel. There are stairs throughout the house to get to the main level and the top level. Guests must be able to climb stairs to enjoy the property.

On the property guests can enjoy BBQ, outdoor dining on the deck, picnic table and an indoor game room equipped with big screen TV, Pool table, Air Hockey Table, Foosball Table, Ping Pong Table, Beer Pong Table, Jenga Game, Dart Board Game, Portable Cornhole Set Outdoor Cornhole Toss Game and Putting Green( Outdoor & Indoor). Kids can play their favorite game on Xbox 360 (bring your own controllers).
We supply freshly cleaned linens, bedding, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, dinnerware, cookware, dishwasher, hand soap, shampoo-conditioner and body wash for all our guests.

The kitchen is open to the living and dining area, with beautiful granite countertops and all the essentials necessary to prepare and serve a delicious meal, including an electric cooking range, dishwasher, large side by side refrigerator, built-in microwave, coffeemaker, large crock pot, toaster, baking pans, blender, lots of dinner ware and some basic spices, oil, and condiments.

There are cameras on the premises monitoring the entrances for security purposes (outdoor cameras only).

Explore the local hiking/biking trails or fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding in Lake Odell nearby or golf at the scenic 18-hole golf course at Pinewood Country Club. Head north to explore Flagstaff restaurants, golf, hiking, skiing and more. Don't miss the Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course just up the road that offers summer fun and winter sledding.

Guest access:
Cabin is located in Munds Park, 20 mins south of Flagstaff. Parking is available on the paved driveway on the property. No more than 5 vehicles are allowed on the property overnight. All additional vehicles will need prior approval or will need to leave the property by 10 PM. You will be charged $100 per extra vehicle and may also require to vacate the property immediately for violating this house rule. Additional guests are not allowed to sleep in campers on the property.

On snowy days, please be prepared to be snowed in until the roads a cleared by the city. The road leading to property is on a slope. All wheel drive vehicles or chains recommended during icy road conditions. Parking may be limited to 3 vehicles during snow season.
Other things to note:
The cabin does not have wheelchair access. Guests will have to climb stairs to get to the main floor and top floor.

The responsible party that books this property must be 25 or older and assumes ALL responsibility during their stay. NO parties allowed or noise past 10pm due to city and neighborhood ordinances. Also, due to outdoor fire danger we will not permit our guests to burn outdoors, other than the use of our gas grill.

Please note - our cabin is in a quiet neighborhood and this is NOT A PARTY HOUSE!! Because of the peaceful setting no loud music from 10pm to 8 am. No motorcycles or ATV's allowed. Please be respectful of the area and love our cabin like we do!!!

There are NO PETS ALLOWED on the property and you will be charged $200 if a pet is found on the property and you will require to vacate the property immediately for violation on this house rule.

The cabin in located in an area with high fire alert. NO SMOKING inside the property.Smoking is allowed in designated areas only.

This is a large house and takes a long time to clean! Early check-ins/late checkouts cannot be guaranteed. Please ask if you need alternate check-in/check-out time and we will try to accommodate if we can.

Do not leave trash outside at anytime during your stay. Our neighborhood pet javelinas, coyotes love to make a mess. Trash bins are located outside.

Fantastic property, modern appointments, fully stocked inevery way, great TV and Wi-Fi, and fun game room. Mostimportantly the host Shirish is on top of things from start tofinish and easily accessible if there are questions. Actuallythe best host I've had at any VRBO.

Nice Stay Overall

Serenity in the pines, was overall a nice place, accommodating for families and nice open kitchen and living area and great game room. There are no blinds in the living area for when the sun goes down for some privacy and therefore lights have to be out or very minimal by 10pm. It is an area where you can see the stars, however, would have liked a little of the privacy and not feel like we had to stop by 10p. Also a little closer to the freeway so you can hear some noise, but not too bad. Unfortunately, our stay wasn't the cleanest, finding a huge spider web and spiders by the dining window. As well as other areas not being clean like bathroom seat in master and trash from a previous stay and outdoor furniture not being cleaned. These are all mishaps that could have been avoided and not reflect on the overall stay but still felt the need to share to help out the hosts. Our stay was nice overall, and we did enjoy ourselves,

50th Birthday get together

We enjoyed the cabin and the location made going on day trips to Sedona, Flagstaff, Jerome and Tombstone easy. We saw a few javelinas and enjoyed the view of the stars from the deck. Family came from California and want to make it an annual family trip.

Beautiful home. Game room was a huge plus! Shirish was an excellent host with quick response to any issues/communication. The only thing to be aware of is there are steep stairs to both levels of the home - carrying ice chests/luggage/everything up stairs. One big disappointment for us was the coffee maker did not work. I hope this gets resolved as having coffee in the mountains is something many people look forward to. Overall our stay was really nice and we would like to rent this home again.

Well named home in the Pines was a touch of luxury and detail in a homey setting. Set literally in the Pines, the home accommodated 11 with ease. The location has all the amenities you would want plus a well stocked play room. Management was available and there was much attention paid to lttile thins. Wonderful Retreat

Had a wonderful time at the location. Host was amazing and quick to respond. Game room was a blast. Lots of space to hang out with the family and plenty of rooms to go hide when you need your own space. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Winter Wonderland

We enjoyed our stay! We had 4 adults and 5 kids- with plenty of room! Woke up to a few inches of snow and the kids were able to sled down the driveway onto the road and loved it!

Great Vaca in the Pine

The house is amazing with amenities and entertainment for the entire family of all ages. The location nestled in the pines is so peaceful and the wrap around deck provides excellent views, even the occasional javelina in the early morning. Thanks for a wonderful place to stay with entire family.

Awesome Cabin!

This property was fantastic for our New Years weekend! The kids had plenty of room to play and they loved the downstairs game room. The host was always responsive if we had any questions. In fact, there was an issue with the oven our first night. The next day they installed a brand new oven before noon. This kind of service is unheard of... We highly recommend staying here as we will again.

Great Family Getaway

My my wife and I stayed for a long weekend with our adult children and their young families, and we found the property set up well for us. The fixtures, appliances and furniture are brand new and comfortable. And the view from the window-adorned great room and front deck is amazing, and like being in a tree house.

Gorgeous Rental, Great Hosts, Absolutely highly recommended!

This is a beautiful new, clean rental, very tastefully decorated. The kitchen has all the comforts you need and you don't miss anything you don't have in your own kitchen. All the rooms have been tastefully decorated and clean and the rooms are well spaced. Only the room with the double bunk beds I would not recommend for adults. This is absolutely only a bedroom for children! The bathrooms were great, all clean and very modern, also equipped with everything you need. An absolute dream is the terrace, the living room and the game room which is located in a garage. This was the absolute highlight for all of us. There are so many games available (table football, billiards, darts, mini golf and much more) that there is no time to be bored even when it rains. The host Shirish was adorable and absolutely accommodating and helpful. We were warmly welcomed with sweets. Our entire travel group, a total of 11 adults and 1 child, felt super comfortable in this indescribably beautiful house and everyone was sad when the trip came to an end. Everyone felt super comfortable and relaxed and wi will all definitely come back. We pointed out to the host Shirish that a table in the dining room for 12 people would be advisable. There are a total of 10 dining places in the living room so far. 6 at the dining table and 4 at the kitchen block. Thanks so much Shirish to share this Beautiful rental with us as your Guests. Very nice property. communications with owners was less than ideal.

Property was ideal for our 3 generation family vacation. Distance to Sedona was misleading but we used two vehicles when needed. The house rules should have been conveyed at time of rental not two days before ability to access it. Problems with a previous renter. precipitated curtly worded 15 pages of house rules and extra I,D. verification before an access code was released 15 minutes before a 4:00pm check in time.
