Rivierfront Trout Chalet

Vissen en te ontspannen net voeten van de rivier Nottely! Een van een soort rivierfront woning gelegen op het prachtige Nottely rivier en naast een 25 acre weide. De nieuwe Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino ligt op slechts 20 minuten rijden - maar een wereld weg! Geniet van de wilde kalkoenen, herten, en een overvloed aan wild leven, of ga vissen op forel net voeten van het chalet. Ontspannen op de overdekte veranda of de rivier tuinhuisje als u de stroomversnellingen van de vis val die werd gemaakt door de inheemse indianen in vervlogen tijden luisteren. Echte einde van de weg privacy!

Voor de kinderen heeft het Trout Chalet Ping Pong, airhockey en Xbox 360. Is iedereen blij!

De woning bestaat uit twee 1200 sq. Ft. Chalets en ligt op slechts 15 minuten van Murphy NC en Blairsville GA. Antiekwinkels en vlooienmarkten zijn slechts enkele minuten. Huur een of beide chalets voor de perfecte vakantie! Samen de twee chalets slapen 10. Het Tranquil Chalet 6 personen en de Forel Chalet voor 4 personen. Deze lijst is voor de Trout Chalet.

Onze familie jarenlang camping. We hebben altijd gehoopt op een van de campings naast de kreek bij Vogel State Park, zodat we konden ontspannen naar de geluiden van het stromende water te krijgen. Die zelden gebeurd ...

Omdat mijn vrouw en ik ouder werd, kregen we moe van de wandeling naar de gemeenschappelijke badkamer, slechte douches, gebrek aan privacy, en de niet zo grote slapen in de camper. Als onze kinderen ouder werd, de allure van slapen in een tent met geen WiFi vervaagde dus we uiteengezet op zoek naar de volgende beste ding dat ons in staat stelt om alle outdoor voordelen van kamperen te genieten, maar met alle gemakken van thuis. We vonden het bij River Run!

We kozen voor deze accommodatie, want het is zeer uniek en ongelooflijk ontspannend. De woning is gelegen aan het einde van een mijl lange onverharde weg op een niveau 1 acre omheind terrein. U kunt één of beide chalets huren, afhankelijk van uw behoeften. De overdekte wrap-around metal overdekte veranda's zijn slechts meters van de rivier de Nottely. U kunt vissen, wandelen, ga antiquing, bij het vuur zitten en luisteren naar de rivier, BBQ op het outdoor grill, kijken naar de koeien grazen overkant van de rivier, of gewoon zitten op de veranda in de rockers en genieten van de bezienswaardigheden en geluiden van de Nottely River.

De twee chalets bieden iets voor alle leden van de familie te genieten terwijl op vakantie:
• man kan vissen forel terwijl de vrouw gaat antiek. Het beste van beide werelden!
• Huur zowel chalets en geef uw tieners de privacy die ze willen en de privacy die u wenst.
• Ideaal voor twee families samen op vakantie en toch geven elkaar privacy.
• Ideaal voor een familiereünie.
• Laat de volwassenen willen slapen in een echt bed en een douche nemen in een echte badkamer, maar de kinderen willen kamperen? We hebben tenten en slaapzakken voor de kinderen, zodat ze kunnen slapen in de buitenlucht naast het vuur. Soort zoals kamperen maar veel beter voor de volwassenen!
• kajak of buis naar beneden de rivier Nottely. Het pand ligt op 2. 5 mijl stroomafwaarts van Nottely dam. U kunt in de rivier aan de voet van de dam.
• Huur een ponton boot op het nabijgelegen meer Nottely.

De vis thema Trout Chalet is ontworpen om grote speelzaal met bedden zijn. Het omvat WiFi, vintage Xbox 360, Ping Pong en airhockey. Kreeg een humeurige tiener met vrienden die hun privacy willen? Of wil hun muziek te luid te spelen? Of wil iets anders op tv te kijken? Geen probleem! De Forel Chalet is de perfecte kid's uitje, terwijl u geniet van de rust en ontspanning van de Tranquil Chalet. Ze zijn blij en u tevreden bent! Perfect!

Het Tranquil Chalet is meer verfijnd en is ideaal voor mensen op zoek naar een meer ontspannen ervaring met alleen de volwassenen in het achterhoofd, maar de kinderen zijn van harte welkom! Ze gewoon niet zo leuk als een verblijf in het Trout Chalet ...

A very tranquil and adventurous Getaway!

We had an amazing time at the Trout Chalet! The kids enjoyed the table games and puzzles while we were there.The fire pit in the evening was a delight and kept us warm while cooking marshmallows.The Notelly River was low tide the first day of so then it was high tide and running through the sounds of the water hitting the rocks or the low branches was very relaxing to hear.Kevin is a great host and very communicative as well. As per previous reviews the private road getting in to the property is a bit of a challenge and I’m glad we rented a Wagoneer that is an all wheel drive. Once you travel it a few times you get used to it.

GREAT WiFi - Great experience

The Trout Chalet was everything we had hoped it would be. The owners went above and beyond to warn us about potential road closures with Helene on the way. They made checking out early very easy. The river is beautiful and unfortunately we didn’t have time to fish. We were in town to work and the WiFi was perfect! other reviewers stated that you needed 4WD. We did have Jeeps. The locals have regulars cars and make it in and out every day. We didn’t think it was hard to find or difficult to get to. The cabin has everything stocked that you would ever need. For those who complained about the sheets, I would rather put on clean sheets than sleep in a bed in which the sheets may have been on for days if the cabin hasn’t been rented. We thought everything was perfect.

Beautiful location

The location is indeed beautiful. The road leading to the cabin is rugged, narrow and rough in places, but worth it if you have a SUV. Not so sure a regular vehicle would make it. The cabin was nice and clean. It does need some updates. If you’re interested in preparing your own meals, the cookware there is not recommended. The water smells of sulfur, but it is well water and hard. We had problems getting the door to unlock upon arrival and even after the owner having the batteries changed, the door never locked when we went out daily. It is a very safe area, but still…. The cabin is not luxury but adequate. The wood burning fireplace was a plus and we had a fire every morning and night. If you’re looking for a plush cabin this is not the place. If you’re looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay while you spend the days exploring, this is the place. There are some repairs that need to be made. Some as simple as light bulbs in the laundry room and living area. The owner was quick to reply with the difficulties we had with the door lock and easy to deal with. We enjoyed our stay, the location was indeed beautiful but would we go back, unfortunately no.

The property is beautiful and fantastic. It had everything we needed. The mile drive on the dirt road was a bit rough. We had had a great deal of rain the 24 hours prior to our departure and I was fearful the I would not be able to get out, but the road held up just fine!

Trout Chalet

My wife and I had a nice time. We enjoyed the river view very much. We also saw deer in the field, a momma with her baby. We read previous reviews and we were glad that we did, that could be a tough drive in the dark, so we were sure to get there before dark. The air hockey table and X-box kept us entertained on a rainy day. The chalet was very clean!!

Trout Chalet

We stayed two nights at the Trout Chalet. We enjoyed our stay. The river was beautiful and peaceful. The home was spacious and supplied all our needs. The negative was the dirt road entering the property. A 4- wheel drive should be recommended for this property. We got there without one but it was difficult. Also this is a one lane dirt road. If you meet a vehicle someone will have to backup. The shades in the downstairs of our chalet are not privacy anyone outside can see right in. The owner was quick to answer all my questions in email before we left. We enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was very nice and comfortable. Location on the river was very nice. Enjoyed the fiver from the front porch. A few negatives, the one lane mostly dirt road was a little rough, the well water had a “ rotten egg” sulfur smell, the yard needed mowing.

Great view and stay

The stay in the chalet was great including the scenery and the space. There are some things that I didn’t quite agree with such as having to make the bed prior to laying in it, there were a lot of small rules that made check out a little stressful. Additional fees or description of the initial reservation seemed to change such as cleaning the bedding prior to leaving or no children being allowed. The instructions all over the home on paper were contradicting to what was left on the emailed instructions. Overall I would consider the stay here again, it was serene and my daughter enjoyed the goat farm and donkey as we road in and out of the dirt road.

Restful Existence

Absolutely the best cabin experience I have had thus far. The porch, rockers and hot coffee while watching the fog lift off of the river was extremely calming and thought provoking. The meadow is breathtaking and all I could do while walking through it was imagine ways that I could convince the owners that they should most definitely add me onto the property title (hehe). My two teenagers were engaged the entire time with the table games, river and sheep farm. My three year old played continuously outside and ran laps around the lush green yard. He chased lightning bugs and tossed many a stones into the river. My only regret is that we didn’t rent it longer. The owners were very clear and communicative from the very beginning. We hope to return again some day! Three items we thought you might like to know: 1) City folk might be alarmed at first by the dirt road that leads through and to the cabin. We were definitely caught off guard at first by the path that laid ahead of us, but after the first time we drove back and forth to town, it became apart of the adventure and fun in our trip. We have a small front wheel drive SUV and she did just fine getting over some of the bumps that we city slickers are not used to. 2) The river was much larger and powerful then we expected and we were shocked to see how much it receded after the generators were closed and no longer releasing water. We enjoyed being in the river so much! 3) If you are able to rent the other cabin with friends or family, that would probably be ideal. Thankfully we got along and enjoyed the company of the other family that was there, but I can see how it might be awkward or uncomfortable if you don’t mend with the other cabin dwellers.

We enjoyed the house and especially the location on the river. Dinner or lunch on the gazebo or hanging out having some drinks looking across the river at the cattle across the way was a great experience at the property. If you have children this property is also ideal because there are plenty of things for the children to do including ping pong table and air hockey table. There’s also a separate house on the property if you have a larger family

Fun little mountain getaway

Beautiful cabin on the river

The cabin is absolutely beautiful! Our family loved that it was by the river and they enjoyed fishing. The cabin is in a very quiet peaceful location which made it nice to be able to kick back and relax. The owner was very nice to work with. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in Murphy.

Peaceful Chalet

The chalet's location is wonderful right on the river where you can sit and have your coffee on the porch while listening to the water rush by. River in front and a pasture full of pleasant cows on the side. We ate every meal outside on the porch. Getting to the property is by about a mile of dirt road so I would highly recommend arriving in the daylight. Great stay and the house has everything you'll need.

Great little getaway

My family and I truly enjoyed the Trout Chalet. We loved the river right out the door, the cow pasture, the porch, and having the game tables. We are already talking about how much fun it would be to bring friends and rent both homes for a small group vacation. Definitely recommend.

Great property but some work to do

This is a beautiful little cabin on a nice creek. My son loved the location. There are two units very close on the same lot. Luckily no one was in the other when we went. If someone was there you would not have much privacy. Would be great to rent both for a larger family. You definitely need to plan on not arriving too late or leaving early in the morning. The road is a long one lane dirt road. Definitely use the owners directions, Not gps, once you are on the dirt road. We didn’t get there until about midnight because we drive from out of state. We were so tired and I wanted to carry my son to bed but found out they do not make the beds for you. So I had to go make three beds at midnight before I could lay down. Likewise on the morning we were leaving we had to leave at 3 am for our long drive and you are required to wash and dry all of the sheets so I had to get up at 1 am to do laundry. So definitely plan your times to arrange for their requests. I have stayed at many vrbo and never had to do that. You are also required to put out and pull in the patio furniture. So just plan some time for set up and pack up. Overall the cabin was clean and nice and seems new. We were out most all day and there is lots to do in the area. We hiked and went gem mining and up to Cherokee. Definitely a great place for kids!!!

Beautiful, relaxing spot to get away

We loved our stay at the trout chalet!! It’s perfectly secluded and feels very peaceful yet so close to Atlanta. Our kids loved all the fun games in the house, and we loved sitting by the river and just totally zoning out. Will definitely be back. Would be great to rent both houses. Thank you!
