Just a quick trip
I've stayed here several times over the past 17 years. This cabin has always been a great get away when the group only needs 2 bedrooms. The listing is accurate, the house is clean, it is close to town and things to do. I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

We arrived late as is usual with a 16-hour drive. The house was clean, and comfortable. I was familiar with the home from a previous rental, and once again, I was very happy to rent this home, so close to my own property!

Our North Carolina Getaway
We enjoyed our stay very much. We took a trip to Helen one day. Had a very delicious Pan Fried trout dinner. We spent ever day playing our favorite game of Canasta! Sad to say today we are heading back to sunny Florida. Thank you Lillian & Bill for everything!

Amazing Chalet in which to stay
A beautiful mountain chalet with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Clean, comfy and cozy. I highly recommend it as a place to stay when visiting southwestern North Carolina. Murphy was a real surprise. It is a charming town with good eateries and shops. Well worth a several day visit.

Slightly Over-rated.
Cleaning people, not doing very well. Top of backsplash is dirty, crusty. Mattress - DS- uncomfortable, needs replacing. stayed DS as I didn't want to use the stairs that often. Sofa-LR- center seat (leather) ripped up. Internet didn't work first WEEK I was there, Expect a refund of some sort for this, along w/refund of security. Appliances all worked fine. Property very nice, and well kept. Much more grown up than pix shows; especially the back yard.

All in all we had a very good stay. Had an issue trying to get access but finally got a return call then an email afterwards with code. The town was very nice I recommend Murphy. The only thing I would recommend doing to the property is replacing the upstairs mattress due to very uncomfortable and the one downstairs makes to much noise when you move around.

Anniversary Trip
This property is beautiful and peaceful. Having one bedroom on the main floor was a plus, especially with the extra large bathroom on that floor. The kitchen was very well stocked and everything in the home was spotless. The only negative we experienced was that the tv reception was through ROKU which meant that every time the internet lost connection (which was frequently), the tv had no reception. We took the opportunity to play cards and board games and had a great week at this property.

This home is Beautiful!
With so little time in town to do anything but get my tasks done. I was in and out of the house before I was in it! But thanks to you folks, I managed to get my obligations resolved, and get my belongings into a storage facility, and I got to see the most important progress on my own home, to see first hand that The lot was cleared, power and utilities were getting where they needed to go, and that we are almost ready to excavate for our basement on our very own home!

Researching Wedding Venues
This house is great for small two couples or small family get aways. My in-laws daughter is getting married and needed a easy access cabin to Blue Ridge and Blairsville. The perfect place to do this and relax.

Cabin was nice, loved the warm gas fireplace. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. A great anniversary getaway to go to and enjoy each other's company. Is in a residential neighborhood, so not real secluded.

The house was well laid out with lots of space, lots of provisions for cooking, plenty of linens, and comfortable beds. Great outside areas for relaxation. Easy access to shopping and outdoor activities. Just an overall great time.

This is a great little spot! Very quiet, lots of trees and a little stream in the back. The wrap around porch is lovely for coffee in the morning. Plenty of privacy for multiple guests as there is a loft with bedroom and bath and a sizable bedroom and bath on the ground floor. Host was great with providing details on accessing the property and suggestions of things to do in the area. We had a wonderful stay.

Work trip
I took this trip because I have vacant land in Murphy that I was working on. This cabin made a really nice place to relax in the evenings. Because of the extra bedroom, I was able to spend a few days with my Mom and Step-dad. Super clean and relaxing. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to spend a few days in Murphy.

Looked nothing like pictures on outside
The yard pond and overall outside of property was on terrible shape. The pond was overgrown and we were afraid to go down to gazebo. I called one of the numbers listed for management and the guy was like all the bushes and trees was for privacy and he didn’t know why the grass wasn’t cut. We could barely get inside without having to move bushes. Horrible. Oh I have pics.

Beautiful cabin but, beware of the furniture!
Absolutely beautiful cabin on the inside & out but, NOT A SINGLE PIECE of COMFORTABLE furniture in the entire place! Beds are hard as a rock, couch is a sleeper sofa that is completely worn out, no chairs are comfortable and the chairs on the deck are very unsafe & unsteady! We were looking forward to relaxing but could not do that! Also the pond needs some clean up! If the issues are corrected this cabin would be perfect!

This is not necessarily the owner's fault, this entire area has terrible internet connectivity. My wife and I had a beautiful and relaxing stay in this chalet style cabin. We were able to relax and unwind in the cabin and the areas in and around Murphy. We made new friends at various establishments around Murphy. We will definitely try and rent this cabin in the future.
