'Off grid cabin / eco tiny home in a scenic area in the hills above Hahndorf. The property had 8 cabins which were really well spaced out giving a feeling of privacy and the area had many birds and kangaroos. Well laid out cabin with thoughtful additions from the host such as kindle/firefighter and matches for the koonara. A lovely stay, highly recommend.'

'What a lovely surprise! As responsible pet owners travelling with our pooch, we have grown to reluctantly accept second-rate rooms and substantial extra nightly cost to have him with us at "pet friendly" motels. Not so here! Modern well maintained rooms, a genuine welcome for us and Rusty, and a beautifully restful environment away from the Hume Fwy trucks! What's more, we enjoyed a hearty and tasty meal at the pub next door.
We are definitely making this our new Melb/Sydney road trip overnight...
