'We enjoyed the Tudor style decor, complete with armor in the reception area, and felt the extra efforts at making the hotel stylish came at a reasonable price. Staff were very helpful. The executive king bedroom with spa had very nice decor consistent with the theme of the hotel, with a very comfortable king size bed. There was a large two-person spa in a spacious bathroom. 'A very nice property located at the top of Mayday Hills that has lovely gardens for a morning walk around the estate. Room somewhat compact however for a solo, overnight stay it was great. The decor is charming and created a lovely ambience. There was no cooked breakfast available on the Monday, however the continental breakfast was enough. A beautiful morning to enjoy the sun on the deck and loads of friendly magpies singing for their breakfast! '

'Zeker geen 4 sterren verblijf. De kamer zelf was mooi en recentelijk gerenoveerd. Maar het was enorm gehorig. Veel lawaai van de andere gasten. Parkeren is direct voor je kamer zoals bij een motel. Er is totaal geen geluidsisolatie, dus de buren die om 2 uur snachts terug komen van de kroeg hoor je overduidelijk. Anderen die om 6 uur s ochtends weggaan hoor je ook weer! '
