AMAZING!
I stayed here for 2 nights after a 2 week trip and needed something comfortable and close to the airport. This place was perfect! The cookies and baklava bites were a nice treat upon check in. We loved the property and the room! Lots of room with a comfortable bed. The bathroom had a bathtub but we didn't have time to try it out. We had dinner downstairs at the restaurant, Straits, and ate outside which was nice. We also ate the next morning at the buffet which was fun with lots of options. We grabbed a snack at the Sports Bar which is right off of the hotel but not affiliated with was good. Finally, we ordered room service before our flights which was perfect because it was 24 hours. Overall, I wish we could have stayed longer.

Das Radisson ist ein fünf Sterne Hotel. Genau so empfanden wir auch die Sauberkeit und den Service etc. Alles klasse. Nach unserer Oman-Rundreise haben wir den letzten Tag zur Erholung vor dem Rückflug dort verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Pool ist sehr gut und es gibt einen kleineren Kinderpool, in dem unsere beiden sehr viel Spaß gehabt haben. Da unser Flug spät am Abend war, haben wir einen kostenlosen Late Checkout um 16 Uhr bekommen. Das war klasse auch damit wir mit unseren Kindern nicht sinnlos am Flughafen "campen" mussten. Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.

Service inexistant Chambre très sale Manque chaque jour quelque chose dans la chambre (peignoirs, serviettes) Luminaire terrasse ne fonctionnent pas Chambre pas nettoyées a 2 reprises Hôtel très mal isolé, nous pouvons entendre les soirées au RDC ou les voisins d a côté Climatisation bloquées très forte. Bien evidttous ces points ont été partagées avec l accueil mais cela n a pas bougé. Sans doute que d autre client plus importants méritaient leur attention .... Je suis déçue et cet hôtel mérite a peine un 3 étoiles avec tous les disfonctionnements. Je demande un remboursement d au moins 3 nuits pour dédommagement car mon séjour a fortement été impacté par cet hôtel qui est présenté sur votre site comme un excellent choix .... ABSOLUMENT PAS! Nous n avons ou profiter d un séjour agréable au sein de cet établissement et de ce fait nous 'ous pressions de partir pour la journée a l extérieur. Quel dommage

The location relative to the airport is good and the hotel is functional. rooms are spacious. Spa is good and breakfast room good. I didn't use but I suspect meeting rooms are good. The swimming pool is mainly in the shade and so relax time outdoor in sunshine is limited. Overall, a functional hotel near airport and good for meetings rather than a tourist type hotel.

The staff who are Omani and light skinned (non-African) racist with this. We are brown skinned travelers from the USA with educated professional background. There was a young Omani girl who Che led us in and gave us a dirty room, and the room was located of all the places next to other brown skinned Asian guests. This is quite unfortunate and shows a lack of training by management. There were rude to us on the phone when asking for simple things. Would also shut off our acres card when accessing the pool, we would be wet drenched after using the pool shivering cold as we couldn’t access our room. This was a local light skinned non African Omani guy working there. The cleaning staff and their Asian and African Omani bosses were very accommodating, made the room much better and even offered us an upgrade. For an global company, this sort of raced based behavior is really shameful and I hope all American and European readers of this post along with Expedia will strongly hold them liable!

Gepflegtes Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Airport
Da unser Flug nach Hause in der Frühe war, haben wir ein Hotel in der Nähe des Flughafens gesucht, damit wir wegen dem hohen Verkehrsaufkommen in relativ kurzer Zeit beim Check-in sein konnten. Das Hotel ist weniger für Touristen geeignet, mangels Zielen in unmittelbarer Nähe. Also eher für Business Leute gedacht. Gute Auswahl an Restaurants mit hotelüblichen Preisen. Alkohol wegen der extrem hohen Steuer im obersten Preissegment. Schöne Innenhofanlage mit Swimmingpool.

Gutes Hotel im Nichts mit überteuerten Restaurants
Transfer vom Airport sehr kompliziert- 3x nachgefasst, dann wartete der Fahrer woanders . Zimmer super, aber ohne Ausblick oder Balkon. Schicker Innenhof. Buffet abends 45,- Euro pro Person, 1 kleines Bier 12,- Euro, dazu Zwangskonsum, um ein WM Spiel mitschauen zu dürfen. Transferzeit viel zu lang- ca 15 Minuten aufgrund ungünstiger Strassenführung. Ausserhalb des Hotels nichts zu Fuss erreichbar - Einöde und Baustellen Drumherum- wir würden nächstes Mal auch nur für eine Nacht lieber gleich ins Hyatt fahren.

In Flughafennähe, jedoch sehr ruhig gelegen.
Die Nähe zum Flughafen Muskat ist ideal. Leider ist die Umgebung des Hotels nicht wirklich sehenswert. Alles andere jedoch einfach toll; angefangen beim Empfang, tolles Zimmer, super Frühstücksbuffet, sehr schöner Pool mit einer mega Abendstimmung zu einem Drink. Trotz Flughafennähe sehr sehr ruhig gelegen.

The hotel is convenient to the airport. The pool area was very nice. Front desk was fine - the first room was overlooking the parking lot, despite upgrading to pool view. The room was changed once the front desk was informed. Some areas smell heavily of cigarette smoke and the room had some water damage in the walls. The room was quiet, which was nice.

The room was large and spacious with a soft bed. The bathroom was large with both a tub and shower. My flight was too early for the included breakfast but the hotel accommodated me by having an early room service with anything I wanted. Lovely. The spa and gym were both well equipped and I enjoyed a lovely massage. It is cheaper to take a taxi than arrange for their transportation. The hotel is only 10 minutes by taxi at 7 OMR.
