'We were very happy with our stay at Casona 1914. It's a lovely hotel with Great staff and very spacious and comfortable rooms--and very clean! We were recovering from our arduous trip, and one day we just stayed in the room almost all day, and it felt pleasant. 'Casa Anabela is in the historic centre of Quito and is walking distance to the Plaza de la Independencia and most of the major attractions in the area. Breakfast has cold and hot options. They make you eggs and coffee to your liking. The bathtub was very relaxing after a long day of travelling and sightseeing. 'The hosts are so sweet. Breakfast is very good they will cook eggs and bacon fresh for you. The rooms are very clean with fresh flowers a lovely touch. There is a small bar where you can have nightcap. The area around has lots of restaurants and bars. The square seems a little sketchy but we had no problems and felt very safe. We would recommend a stay at this hotel.'

'The property feels safer than any I’ve been it. The interior design is upbeat and unlike your average hotel. Great bedding, great tree top view allowed us to be entertained by mourning doves and hummingbirds. The breakfast was average for this area: eggs, fruit, fruit juice with or without sugar. In house roasted coffee. The manager and staff were efficient and friendly. We particularly liked Fernanda, the woman who served us breakfast on day one off three.'
