'I had an amazing stay at Hotel Plaza Grande. The location is excellent and lots of shopping nearby. Easy access to historical sites. The staff is very attentive and go out of the way to make your stay extra comfortable. The room is very spacious and free wine and chocolates were appreciated! Highly recommend!'

'Loved the hostel. Has the historic rustic vibe. Have daily events and walking tour on board schedule. In or around the old historic town. Not walking distance from your typical Holiday Inn and restaurants but closer to the typical Ecuadorian life style and food. Its like a maze inside the hostel with creaking wood floor.'

'Fantastic stay at La Basilica Quito. Great location with good security, very friendly owners and staff. English spoken. Very clean and nice rooms, comfortable beds and bathroom with all amenities. Some of the rooms are located in-house, which makes them a bit stuffy due to lack of ventilation, but this is minor. Right in the hart of Old Quito at 5 minutes walk from historic square with cathedral, museums, presidential palace, and also the National Basilica. '

Reception staff helped gladly with toyr recommenadions and irganization. For me this place was maybe not a luxurious 5 star, but it certainly felt like 5 star treatment. 'Great location-just 1 block north of Plaza Grande (as hotels.com says but contrary to what Google maps say as of today: and you'll need to tell cabs/ubers/...). My room was quite quiet despite of being right downtown. The people running the hotel are very friendly and helpful. I'd certainly stay at Casa Colonial again.'

'Hoewel een kort verblijf van 2 nachten, een prima tijd gehad in het in historische centrum zeer centraal gelegen hotel. Ook van het straatverkeer geen last, mede omdat de straat relatief smal is. Bijzonder was dat die Zondag verplicht binnenblijven was vanwege de census( volkstelling) Uitsluitend militairen en politie op straat. Echter met het fijne hotel en de goede maaltijden was het niet echt rampzalig. Ook was het bijzonder dat het hele land vanaf vrijdagmiddag tot maandagmiddag drooggelegd...

Showers is so amazing but the products shampoo a conditioner cream soap are spa level, food is gourmet but the service is upscale, coffe at the room is Omg and the bed the pillows the little details like delicious water a plate with amazing local fruits desert and orange juice as welcome ! A básquet of local snacks … and the fountain at night sound as rain ! What can I say just Amazing'
