'KZN Park View Guest House is an affordable option in the Durban area. The room was clean, the shower was hot and had great pressure and there were a few lovely cafes walking distance.'

'Easy and friendly check in '

'Loved it. The staff members were really great, the highlight of my stay. '

'Clean room'

'Great locationIt was a good relaxed and quite stay. Host is welcoming and very helpful. I certainly will be booking for my next stay in the city. I can’t rate excellent, as there is always a room for improvement. I recommend Mackaya Guest Hiuse! '

'first of all it should never be listed, the building is in bad condition, the windows are falling, there is no aircondition considering it was 98 deg outside, the place was not clean I would not rate it any star. Expedia should take them off the hotels It is sad to call it a hotel.'

'Nice and peaceful place, easy to locate, clean and friendly staff especially the guards.'

'There was nothing LUX about it. We were in an outside room. We had to walk up a flight with a rail and then up another flight of metal stair to get to the room. On opening the door we were met with the overwhelming smell of a deoderiser that was actually hiding the damo smell. However for the regular price, we wouldn't have preferred to stay in this hotel. The style of the hotel is quite outdated (e.g. the breakfast room is in 'Titanic style'). Further it was quite windy and in our room at the 14th floor this gave quite some noice. Finally the personel at the frotn desk was quite 'inflexible'. The staff in the breakfast...

'Advertised pictures look more neat than the actual place. Cupboards had no shelves but only hanger rails. Bathroom basin slightly blocked (water slowly drained). No PARKING at Facility! Used nearby dodgy parking facility charged per day and night! Hotel cleaners not trusted, watch chargers got stolen. Spoiled my running experience during comrades with low charged running watch. Security manager informed and didn’t help, not even to view camera footage. I doubt the cameras even works. Hotel...
