Ftelia is a famously windy bay, but the layout of Citadel is as a courtyard with well kept gardens and a beautiful tree, with especially high walls to the North which block the majority of the wind. With 4 different areas where you can dine & 5 different areas where you can lounge, there is plenty of shade and shelter to be found. Every corner of this property has been made comfy and homely by the families that have lived here.

Even the saltwater pool is a piece of Mykonos history! It is the first EVER pool to be constructed in Mykonos and is kept in its original 70’s style. Many famous people have had art shows, fashion expositions and launch events at the property over the years. You can bask in the pool knowing you are sharing a space with some of the true glitterati of Mykonos.

The kitchen and laundry areas are fully equipped and in communal style, set aside from the bedrooms so essentially there is no main house, but more like a cluster of individual apartments around the pool, the tree, the garden and the kitchen which is ideal so as not to disturb each other.

There is a small hidden beach just on the edge of the property down a beautiful path directly from the house. Sheltered from wind and waves. It boasts some absolutely fascinating rock formations that look like they should be on Mars! Relax, dip, paddle, snooze, have lunch, read a book & go for a swim, all without seeing a soul!
