'We had a wonderful stay at Kalypso Hotel! The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The pool area was beautiful and perfect for relaxing after exploring the island. 'We had a last minute trip to kalymnos staying at Alkyonis apartments hosted by the lovely Evi who in spite of flight delays kept well In touch with us by email as well as text message. The warmest welcome greeted us on our arrival and Evi's kindness and helpful manner continued all week. 'A bright spacious apartment with a great view. Well equipped with everything you will need. A five minute walk, to possibly the largest supermarket on the island. The bus stop is opposite the supermarket.
Two coves with beaches, are a fifteen minute walk.

'This is a family run hotel. We had an apartment. Basic but very clean and the family are renovating the rooms so they will change soon. Extremely friendly and helpful. Ramona, Danny and family speak a variety of languages - especially Ramona. They could not do enough for you. We arrived after 11pm in the evening and they greeted us and showed us to our rooms. 'Het hotel licht midden in de stad en de omgeving is levensgevaarlijk voor voetgangers, een wandeling is daarom af te raden. De eigenaar meldde ons dat het een paradijs was in zijn hotel en rookte in de ruimte waar de gasten zaten te ontbijten. Een man die je niet gauw zou tegespreken. Sinds de bouw van het hotel, 25 jaar geleden is er aan de inrichting niets veranderd. Deondanks was het verblijf uit te houden, maar een lange vakantie zou ik er nooit willen houden.'
