'Lovely cosy space with everything we needed. The design is really cute with a small but well equipped kitchenette. A pleasant walk to town and we enjoyed the views over the mountains from the back porch. A generous selection of snacks and breakfast foods was provided, a nice touch.'

'We had a lovely stay . Convenience at your doorstep. Close walk into town. Comfortable and cosy home as described by owner. We stayed there on a very hot weekend and were surprised at how cool the house was we did not even need to use the aircon! Also close to an interesting bush walk loop just up the road. '

'This was the second time that we have stayed at Hughes Hideaway. Despite being on the same property as the main house- you would never know anyone else was around. It feels quite secluded and quiet. The property itself was spotless with all amenities available. Two bedrooms with bathroom, living/dining area and full kitchen plus a covered outdoor area to sit in and BBQ. 'Picketts Cottage was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had everything we needed and more. It was quiet and only a block away from the town centre. The dossier on the coffee table covering the tourist attractions, amenities and hospitality venues was amazing as it also included an informative history of Ned Kelly and the Kelly gang. We would certainly stay here again.'
