'Clean Room. Staff Good.Breakfast Good. Bar Good. Food Good.'

'Was nice. Breakfast was good'

'Great hotel in nice manor. The house itself is very well preserved notwithstanding the modern extensions and the modernisation of the interior. Great space rooms and good facilities like a pleasant swinging pool. We did eat in York before our arrival but the restaurant seems good, the breakfast there was excellent. Good place to stay when visiting York.'

'Vriendelijke en ontspannen sfeer. Goed eten. Mooi dorpje '

'We were here for a wedding. Everything ran like clockwork and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. One word of warning, if you have mobility issues make sure you are on a floor serviced by a lift'

'We stayed here for a couple of nights, and cannot fault either the room (we had a dog friendly room) Bed was comfy, bathroom very modern and clean. I can certainly recommend the full English breakfast, possibly one of the best I've ever had, there are lighter options. We also had dinner here on both nights, again the food was great with good range of choices although in my opinion slightly pricey. Staff at breakfast and dinner were smart, attentive and polite. Apart from the intense heat, which...

'Lovely junior garden room with a very nice view! Very cosy and dog friendly! Super food served and the staff especially Jane & Lauren were so lovely and gave super service! Would highly recommend staying or dining here!'

'Toilet did not flush strongly enough so we were confronted with the impossible to remove old poop of the previous guest. The receptionist seemed to think it was ours... '

'The accommodation is very good and the restaurant is of a very high standard. The carvery is worth a special mention. All the hotel staff delivered service that made us feel valued.'

'Great hotel. Lovely room, nice breakfast and evening meal. Good location, right next to the town'

'This is a delightful place. The staff is wonderful. The building is charming'

'Staff were amazing 10/10 Food amazing Very accommodating Rooms says soundproof but wasn’t and corridors smell of the food, overall though we had a lovely time and used as a base and we enjoyed the food they served 10/10'
