The house, nicknamed “Le Chardonneret,” has 4 bedrooms and is attached to another vacation rental. It was originally a renovated farmhouse dating back over 200 years. It retains its charm with exposed beams and local stone while offering all the comforts of a modern home.

On the first floor
You’ll find the kitchen, which opens onto the living room and dining room, as well as two bathrooms.

The kitchen
is equipped with a gas stove, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a microwave, a kettle, a coffee maker, and kitchen utensils. In the common areas of the vacation rental complex, you’ll have access to a coin-operated washing machine.

The living room
features two sofas and two armchairs. You can enjoy meals together around the large oak table in the dining room. A television (with French and English channels) and a DVD player are available for your use.
Both bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a toilet.
The upper floor, accessible via a wooden staircase, is laid out with 4 bedrooms

The house can therefore accommodate up to 7–8 people.
• Each bedroom has its own closet, and bed linens are provided.

Outdoor area:
The house has a private patio with a wooden table; a parasol, patio furniture, and a barbecue are available for your use (charcoal not provided).
Wi-Fi is free.

The property is suitable for various types of stays.
• For families, the gardens are perfect for enjoying time with your children playing badminton, ping-pong, volleyball, soccer, or basketball. Swings and a trampoline are available for your use. You’ll have access to two swimming pools from spring through fall (the first is heated and measures 9 m x 5 m, and the second, larger pool measures 11 m x 7 m). For safety reasons, the pools are equipped with alarms and fencing.
• For couples, the gardens—with their quintessential view of the Lot countryside—offer a moment of calm and relaxation
• History buffs will be in their element in this region steeped in the history of the Hundred Years’ War; there’s no shortage of castles and medieval villages to explore. Also discover the many caves for which the region is famous, notably the Lascaux Caves.
• For sports enthusiasts, you’ll find plenty to enjoy exploring the Dordogne by canoe (a 5-minute drive away), or playing golf, tennis, going on a pony ride, paragliding, or—why not—soaring high with a hot-air balloon ride? There are also many lakes and water parks in the area.
• For food lovers, the local cuisine will delight you; we recommend the village restaurant, just a 5-minute walk away. You can also explore the local vineyards (Cahors, Gaillac, Monbazillac, Bordeaux).
• Les Espioles offers the perfect setting for a vacation with family or friends, featuring five non-smoking vacation rentals (pets not allowed): one of the cottages sleeps 5 people (2 bedrooms); two others have 3 bedrooms and can accommodate 5 and 6 people, respectively; and the remaining two cottages, each with 4 bedrooms, sleep 7 to 8 people.
