  • "Ocean Paradise South" wacht op uw gezin voor uw eigen paradijselijke vakantie. Naast het privézwembad en het bubbelbad, zijn de uitzichten op de oceaan hier de ster, vanaf twee niveaus van het huis. Top al dat met het feit dat u uw familiehond kunt brengen ... het is gewoon te mooi om waar te zijn! De geweldige kamer, keuken en eetkamer op het hoogste niveau hebben allemaal een geweldig uitzicht vanaf de muur met ramen aan de oostkant en toegang tot het dek. Uitzicht op de oceaan tijdens het diner, ontspannen in de woonkamer of vanuit de keuken en de bar zijn er voor iedereen een plezier! Zes grote slaapkamers zijn slechts een van de voorzieningen die "Ocean Paradise South" onderscheidt van de rest.

    Iedereen zal worden vermaakt met een privézwembad met voldoende terras om te ontspannen. De hot tub bij het zwembad is een geweldige plek om te ontspannen en tot rust te komen terwijl u naar de actie in het zwembad kijkt. De loopbrug naar het strand maakt het gemakkelijk om er te komen. Net binnen in de begane grond is de rec room een koele uitstel van de zon om pool te spelen of te ontspannen en een beweging te kijken. Je kon ontspannen op het middenniveau dek met een boek of genieten van alle zon die je kunt krijgen op het strand, het zwembad of op het hoogste niveau dek met geweldig uitzicht op de oceaan. De keuken heeft granieten aanrecht en het gemak van een pantry, zodat je de hele week goed gevuld kunt zijn! Deze keuken is voor familiechefs. Met een 6-pits gasfornuis, 2 ovens en 2 afwasmachines, heeft u alles wat u nodig heeft ... iedereen zal u willen helpen! Er zijn 3 gashaarden voor sfeer tijdens uw vakanties en vakanties buiten het seizoen.

    "Ocean Paradise South" ligt op een geweldige locatie. Op loopafstand van de pier van Jennette, restaurants en boodschappen, hoeft u zich nooit zorgen te maken over het opraken van melk of mixers. De Outlet Mall ligt op slechts enkele minuten, evenals de Oregon Inlet en Pirate's Cove Marinas. Maak een dagtocht om 2 vuurtorens te vangen: Bodie Island Lighthouse ligt op enkele minuten afstand en de Cape Hatteras Light ligt op slechts ongeveer een uur rijden. Everything in the house was great! It was so close to the beach with easy access, our guests enjoyed that. The hot tub was clean and warm. Plenty of space for everyone to move around and be comfortable. The kids enjoyed the bottom level with the bunk beds and pool table. We would love to come back in the warmer months. Thanks for ensuring our stay was comfortable with the text message check ins and making everything easy for us. We hope to return!

Wonderful house, great location

Overall the house is near perfect. A few little thingscthat need improvement. I anticipate all issues will be dealt with. We would definitely want to stay here again.

The whole house was full of dog hair. It had not been cleaned at all. I had to request a vacuum cleaner so I could clean it myself. Thought I should have been given some kind of a refund but was not. I also sent photos to show them.

Deep Clean Needed

The location was great and the house was surface cleaned. Unfortunately it needs a deep clean. The air vents and high ceiling fans were very dirty and one wall actually had dusty fur stuck to it. The furniture ( head boards) were also dirty. The pool was filthy with chairs and buckets laying on the bottom and trying to get to the beach was a task as the steps were waist high covered in sand. It was the second time we stayed at this property and it clear the owners are not maintaining it as screens were torn on the porch and the grill was a rusty mess three floors down. It’s unfortunate as the bedrooms are all perfect for a large gathering.

Nice house but Pool was not ready & Air Conditioning was broken

The house was lovely itself but we had 2 major issues. When we arrived there was a guy there just starting to treat the pool for the season. It was filled with sand, scummy, and black mold all around the lip of the pool. We booked the house purposely for the pool so we could enjoy Memorial Day weekend on the ocean with a pool, but wasn't able to use it. Also, the top floor air conditioning wasn't working. The agency sent a guy right away to look at it, but he said it would need to be replaced. So we spent a hot couple of days on the top floor. The first and 2nd floor air worked fine, but the bedroom I stayed in (on the top floor) as well as the main living area, was quite hot during the stay. We had to open windows and use fans for airflow. I asked the agency for a partial discount due to these issues, but they still have not gotten back to me about it (3 weeks later). Once those 2 problems are fixed, I'd say the house is very nice. I liked the location, it was clean and spacious. It just seemed the house wasn't quite ready for guests. We also had to go buy a battery for the smoke detector during our stay as it started chirping at us. And we noted several light bulbs were burnt out. I think we were the first renters for the season so things weren't quite ready yet.

Good venue

Great bedroom accommodations. We would have liked Teflon pans and lights in the driveway. Also garbage can was full of something metal and screen laying on the ground were the first things we saw upon arrival. Inside the home was home and bedrooms nicely decorated.

Celebrating 95 years of an amazing man

We enjoyed our time together. The house was nice. My grandfather enjoyed watching the ocean every day. It was very cold while we with there so we were disappointed the fire places didn't work. The house definitely needs some TLC. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves!!

Great property for a large group

While I think the property was great for us, I will say we are all in the 28-33 range and are pretty low maintenance. House is fantastic for large groups because of how many bedrooms it has and all rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor had large beds and private bathrooms which was great. We loved having the hot tub and pool as well as being able to walk right on to the beach. Really didn’t notice much of what was listed in the TLC comments from prior visits. The only 2 things I can mention is a couple of people said they saw a mouse on the ground floor which I did not see (and the property wasn’t dirty which is typically inviting to mice) and it could use some paint. For the paint, mainly referring to the outside which is more an off season project. Super minor (or unconfirmed) things though. Really don’t want it to take away from the great experience we had there.

The house could stand a little TLC, but no major issues. Maybe a new living room sofa and more seat for like a movie night!

Beautiful view and spacious house on the beach.

Everything was in working order and in good repair. Sure it's next to a rather quaint older motel but that's of little concern to me and the motel frankly adds a bit of the "old nags head" charm. It's a beachfront property, reasonably priced with plenty of room for our trip of four adults and three children <11yrs. Exceeded or met all of our expectations.

Very large house, but needs some TLC

This house is a reasonable choice for anyone needing a very large place (8 BRs! and 7 and 1/2 baths!) or a place to stay with your dogs. It's right on the beach with a good view and also close to stores/restaurants. There are some things that could be done to this hose to make it a nicer place to stay. 1. More than a few light bulbs are burned out or inoperative or not properly working.. 2. The carpet should be cleaned. 3. Several of the window blinds are broken and/or inoperative. 4. A list of the TV channels would have been nice. 5. The shower ceiling is full of mildew. 6. A map of the area with some recommended restaurants would have been a nice touch. In short, this is a nice house, but it's in need of some TLC.

Great house, needs maintenance.

The ocean view, location (except for the dumpy motel next door), and being able to bring my dog make up for a lot and I really liked the home layout. But beware, this house needs maintenence and there is too much broken stuff to name it all. My back is still sore for the crummy mattress, I hardly slept at all.

Off season OBX family trip

Overall, we had a great time. A great property, excellent location, and home size. Would definitely rent this property again! Minor recommendations: hot tub needs a new cover, wooden decks and fence need to be painted, and fence door leading to the ocean needs to be fixed.
