Midden in het centrum van Napels, in een oud verbouwd klooster, met enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel en een lekker ontbijt. Het was geweldig.

In typisch napolitaans straatje, vlakbij de winkelstraat Via Toledo. Vele leuke restaurantjes. Kleine kamer met balcon , goede sanitaire voorzieningen. Prima bed. Koffie en thee op de kamer. We hebben er heerlijke dagen beleefd.

ontbijt was zeer basic, weinig variatie. de kamer leek op het erste gezicht ouderwets maar...was zeker oké, netjes, alle moderne voorzieningen waren er. Goede wifi! Midden in de sfeer van het drukke, typische Napels.

Levendige buurt, druk rommelig en juist daarom zo heel erg leuk! Met de bekende smalle straatjes, restaurantjes, en toch ook dichtbij moderne winkelstraten. Metro’s makkelijk te bereiken en daarom dichtbij veel bekende toeristische plekjes. Geluid in de kamer was door extra luiken prima te hebben, geen oordopjes nodig gehad ook al liggen ze in de kamer.

It's on the top of the hotel, far away from street noisy and each junior suite has a lovely private roof garden where have breakfast in the morning or relax with a glass of wine in the evening... priceless! Uitstekend hotel in het quartieri spagnoli
Il Convento is een uitstekend hotel, met als belangrijkste plussen de zeer schone kamers, behulpzaam personeel, prima gevarieerd ontbijt en de goede Wifi verbinding. Het zit middenin de (chaotische) Spaanse wijk, een volksbuurt met zeer nauwe straatjes waar het leven zich veelal op straat afspeelt. De buurt heeft een aantal uistekende restaurants waar je tegen schappelijke prijzen goed kunt eten. Wij zeten met onze kamer aan de Via Speranzella, wat inhoudt dat het dag en nacht vrij rumoerig is, als gevolg van het vele (scooter)verkeer. Het hotel had echter oordopjes klaarliggen en daarmee hebben we een prima nachtrust gehad. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf in Napels, en kwamen 's avonds altijd graag weer terug in onze kamer in Il Convento!

The property is in a convenient area, close enough to the metro & the harbor to walk. Lots of food options nearby. The staff were fantastic! They were helpful in finding great food & with ferry schedules. The breakfast had plenty of options. A nice thing is they offer drinks & snacks 24 hours a day. There is a small elevator. Our room had a loft with two twin beds and a full/queen bed below. They offered the normal toiletries along with razors, toothbrushes, combs, & cotton swabs. It was a good sized room according to European standards. The bed itself and pillows were not as comfortable as I would have liked, and the ac in the room just didn’t seem to work at all, only downfall to our stay. We did a day trip to Almafi /Positano/Sorrento from here on our own using the ferry & public transit.

Loistavalla paikalla keskellä espanjalaisia kortteleita sijaitseva hyvässä kunnossa oleva ja siisti hotelli. It was an amazing five days in the quarteri spagnoli - easy to get around and a decent breakfast. The top floor with the terrace is beautiful and makes it seem very spacious. Only things missing were a kettle and face washers. Bath quiet difficult to get in and out of if you are a bit older or have bad back. Would highly recommend here to experience the true Napoli!

O hotel e pequeno, tem poucos quartos, no entanto e aconchegante. A localização e muito boa a duas quadras da via Toledo, tem muitos restaurantes e mercadinhos a pé e para quem gosta de andar da para conhecer o centro caminhando. Unexpectedly nice hotel in the busy, crowded and narrow Naples Spanish quarter. Very convenient location walking distance to all the shopping and funicular train. Must take funicular to Castle St Elmo for great views of city and Vesuvius. Great shopping and pizza dining nearby.

Positief: Netheid, personeel en service en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
We had an excellent stay at Hotel il Convento. It is in crowded back streets, full of small shops, cafes and restaurants as well as scooters and some cars ( which need to be watched out for!). We enjoyed this vibrancy and liked being able to walk and choose where to eat each night, often stopping for a drink beforehand. We felt quite safe. The Main Street (Toledo) is very close and metro stations a short walk away. Once inside the hotel, our room was very quiet and we slept well. The breakfast was excellent, with a good range from scrambled eggs, ham, cheese and bread, to cereals, fruit and yoghurt. Lots of pastries! Italian coffee from a machine which we could access all day, Much appreciated. Fortunately my Husband did bring his own Earl grey tea bags which were not in the selection box. My only negative comment! Receptionists were friendly and helpful. We would love to return one day.
